People arrived early in the morning to line the parade route along The Mall near Buckingham Palace

Lots of fans had flags and face paint to show their support for the team

These fans had even written the names of their favourite players on their sunglasses

Thousands of people lined The Mall, waiting for a chance to celebrate the team

Georgia Stanway, Chloe Kelly and Ella Toone waved to fans as their bus made its way up The Mall

Then it was the moment the crowd has been waiting for - to see the Euros trophy for themselves - and thankfully Captain Leah Williamson was happy to show it off

With the bus pulling away, Grace Clinton turned back to see the fans behind her

It took two buses to fit everyone from the squad and coaching staff on

As the bus travelled up The Mall towards Buckingham Palace, the Royal Air Force band played iconic English football anthem Three Lions, with thousands of fans singing along and waving flags

After the bus went past, fans walked up The Mall to watch the team gather on stage at the Queen Victoria Memorial for the next part of the celebrations

On stage the Lionesses had a chance to speak about how they've been feeling since their win. Chloe Kelly told the crowd, "It feels so good to stand with these girls and all the backroom staff. Thank you to everyone who turned out... I'm so proud to be English."
