Summary

  1. touchdown

Touchdown - Packerspublished at 23:43 British Summer Time 7 September

Detroit Lions 6-24 Green Bay Packers

Green Bay hadn't had too much joy running the ball but they're moving it now, with Josh Jacobs scampering over from just three yards out to put even more daylight between the teams.

That's the ninth straight game Jacobs has scored a touchdown in and stretches what already looked like a commanding lead after what's been a pretty dominant display on both sides of the ball.

  2. field goal

Field goal - 49erspublished at 23:40 British Summer Time 7 September

San Francisco 49ers 10-10 Seattle Seahawks

All square again in Seattle after Jake Moody kicks a 32 yarder in the fourth quarter, and this one could go down to the wire as there's nothing much between them.

  3. Postpublished at 23:32 British Summer Time 7 September

Detroit Lions 6-17 Green Bay Packers

Green Bay have to punt, but it's a beauty that pens Jared Goff just outside his own end zone, and he's almost tackled inside the end zone for a safety but just manages to fall back into the field of play.

Green Bay stuff two attempted runs and Detroit have to punt out of their own end zone - which is the last place any punter wants to kick from.

  4. Interception chalked offpublished at 23:24 British Summer Time 7 September

Detroit Lions 6-17 Green Bay Packers

Huge moment as Detroit grab an interception off Jordan Love, and Brian Branch in fact returns it to the house for a touchdown - but it's coming back!

There's two flags, one for Aidan Hutchinson flattening Love after the pick, and also defensive holding which came beforehand, so Green Bay keep the ball.

    Big escape for the Packers.

Are Green Bay one of those? Have they now got all the right pieces around quarterback Jordan Love?

  6. Goff goes downpublished at 23:18 British Summer Time 7 September

Detroit Lions 6-17 Green Bay Packers

Down goes Jared Goff as the pocket collapses and Lukas Van Ness get his hands on the Detroit quarterback to record the sack.

Surprisingly it's the first one of the day as Goff has been under constant pressure throughout the game but up to now hadn't been brought down.

Jordan Love gets the ball back.

  7. Blocked field goal!published at 23:13 British Summer Time 7 September

San Francisco 49ers 7-10 Seattle Seahawks

It's all happening in Seattle, where Brock Purdy threw an interception at the start of the second half, but was bailed out by his defence who forced a stop.

Purdy got the 49ers back into field goal range on the next drive, but this time the kick was blocked by Seattle's special teams.

  8. touchdown

Touchdown - Rams back in frontpublished at 23:12 British Summer Time 7 September

  9. field goal

Field goal - Titans back within onepublished at 23:07 British Summer Time 7 September

    Tennessee Titans 12-10 Denver Broncos

On just the second play of the third quarter, Bo Nix coughs up his second interception of the day.

Three running plays fail to earn the Titans a first down so they settle for another field goal from Joey Slye - his fourth already today.

  10. field goal

Field goal - Lionspublished at 23:02 British Summer Time 7 September

Detroit Lions 6-17 Green Bay Packers

'Only' a field goal for the Lions from Jake Bates after another drive stalled in the red zone. And you have to say 'only' because Green Bay have looked so deadly on offence that dealing in threes just won't cut it for Detroit.

  11. Half-time - Field goal edges Texans back in frontpublished at 23:01 British Summer Time 7 September

Houston Texans 9-7 Los Angeles Rams

Houston got the ball back with only 53 seconds to the half but managed to make enough ground for Ka'imi Fairbairn to make his third field goal so far from 53 yards.

  12. Good start for Goffpublished at 23:00 British Summer Time 7 September

Detroit Lions 3-17 Green Bay Packers

Jared Goff loves his tight end Sam LaPorta, and no wonder as he hauls in two great catches on a fine opening drive that now sees Detroit in the red zone.

Two catches for 46 yards for LaPorta, who can run, catch and then also run over defenders too.

  13. Kick-offpublished at 22:59 British Summer Time 7 September

    Tennessee Titans 9-10 Denver Broncos

It was reported there would be a weather delay at Denver, but the players are now back on the field for the second half.

Things have livened up in Denver.

A booming punt from Ireland's Dan Whelan and some great coverage brings an end to the first half - and quite a start for the Packers who have been at it from the start.

Jordan Love looks brilliant and Micah Parsons dangerous in a total performance so far on both sides of the ball.

Will Puka Nacua get as much joy this season after a superb rookie season with the Rams after being just a fifth-round draft pick?

He's been on and off the field so far as he suffered a nasty eye injury which required stitches. He returned with a bandage under his helmet but had to go back off as the wound was still bleeding

Just a field goal the difference in this NFC West clash up in Seattle - where the 49ers are smarting after losing tight end George Kittle with a hamstring injury.

Injuries killed San Francisco last season and they'll just be hoping that this isn't the start of another cursed year.

  19. touchdown

Touchdown - Broncospublished at 22:38 British Summer Time 7 September

    Tennessee Titans 6-10 Denver Broncos

A decent punt return puts Denver in position for Bo Nix to send a high ball towards the corner, where receiver Courtland Sutton leaps to take a 22-yard touchdown pass.

  20. Interception!published at 22:35 British Summer Time 7 September

Detroit Lions 3-17 Green Bay Packers

Micah Parsons doesn't get on the stat sheet but he forces this interception as he comes steaming in on Jared Goff and forces an error in accuracy from the Lions quarterback, allowing Evan Williams to jump in front of the receiver and pick up the interception.
