Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo on CBS: “The Ravens have no answers, the Chiefs are dominating. The season’s on the line on this drive I think, for the Ravens.”

So where we at with the Chiefs bingo?

    Check, check, check, check...

Think we're just waiting on Jason Kelce to go bare-chested again now then.

  3. Ravens drive ends with puntpublished at 22:13 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

Kansas City Chiefs 17–7 Baltimore Ravens

The Kansas City Chiefs have seen some weather in the play-offs so far so won't be fazed by some heavy-looking rain in Baltimore.

Mark Andrews, who broke his leg back in Week 11, gets his second catch of the day but only after spilling a slippery-looking pass on first down.

A Chiefs blitz from Justin Reid on third snags up Lamar Jackson and all of a sudden the Ravens are punting away again.

    A promising drive washes away.

  4. Postpublished at 22:11 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

Kansas City Chiefs 17–7 Baltimore Ravens

A couple of completions to Justice Hill and another first down for the Ravens.

I'm pleased to report Lamar Jackson is no longer the player with the second-most receiving yards on the Ravens for the day.

  5. 'The next score is just massive in this one'published at 22:09 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

    Greg Brady
NFL pundit on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

Can Lamar Jackson get right? Can he find himself? Can his team-mates have confidence in him? Can they give him a little more time to throw?

The next score is just massive in this one. Getting points is a priority for Baltimore, even if it's just a field goal.

  6. Postpublished at 22:08 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

Kansas City Chiefs 17–7 Baltimore Ravens

Just 50 yards on the ground so far from Baltimore and Lamar Jackson is throwing on first down. He does however pick out his running back Gus Edwards in space who scampers through for 16 yards.

Jackson himself then takes off on the next play to pick up 12 and another first down. Positive signs for the Ravens

  7. Ravens leaning on defencepublished at 22:07 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

Kansas City Chiefs 17-7 Baltimore Ravens

Phoebe Schecter, former Buffalo Bills coach, on Sky Sports talking about the Ravens defence stepping up to the challenge. They've been on the field for 54 plays.

“I don’t think we can describe enough how exhausting this is, it literally takes it all out of you. What they’ve done is incredible. Right now they are just trying to get off the field.”

  8. Flag costs Chiefspublished at 22:04 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

Kansas City Chiefs 17–7 Baltimore Ravens

Holding on the offensive line from the Chiefs brings a 10-yard penalty and suddenly Patrick Mahomes is facing third and 15.

It's no good as Ravens linebacker Kyle van Noy anticipates the pass to Isiah Pacheco, thunders in with the tackle and stops the offence in its tracks.

Perhaps they're starting to get a handle on last season's MVP quarterback.

That was nearly a pass from Travis Kelce!

A clever little fake from the big tight end, a thumping shoulder charge later and it's another first down for the Chiefs and they are over the halfway line.

  10. Mahomes impressing Romopublished at 22:01 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo on CBS: "Mahomes has a way of making things look easy."

  11. Postpublished at 22:00 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

Kansas City Chiefs 17–7 Baltimore Ravens

Noise levels dial up in Baltimore as 70,000 fans try to get their defence moving.

It's a third-and-six for Patrick Mahomes but he dinks a 16-yard pass to Justin Watson. Onward with the chains.

  12. Ravens go three and outpublished at 21:55 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

Kansas City Chiefs 17–7 Baltimore Ravens

A couple of runs to start this Ravens drive from Gus Edwards and Zay Flowers in the back field. The Chiefs defence stands tall though and Lamar Jackson is forced to throw on third down.

He slings a risky pass in the direction of Flowers and Nick Bolton is there for the Chiefs. He should intercept but it slips out of his hands.

Three and out for the Ravens though. Edgy start to the third quarter from both sides.

  13. Postpublished at 21:52 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

Kansas City Chiefs 17–7 Baltimore Ravens

New half, same story as Patrick Mahomes picks out Travis Kelce on second down. That's more than 100 yards and 10 catches for their tight end.

The Chiefs cannot convert on third down though and have to punt it away.

Lamar Jackson will get an early chance to take the field in this second half.

  14. Mahomes in commandpublished at 21:50 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

Kansas City Chiefs 17-7 Baltimore Ravens

Jason Bell, former NFL cornerback, on Sky Sports: "Mahomes has got command right now. He just has an understanding of what is necessary in this game. It’s all about working out how to beat his opponent and he has a great handle on that."

  15. Kick-offpublished at 21:49 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

Kansas City Chiefs 17–7 Baltimore Ravens

Right then, what you got Baltimore?

It's over to that record-breaking defence first of all as Patrick Mahomes has the ball in his hands.

  16. Chiefs showing 'championship DNA'published at 21:49 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

Lamar Jackson made a magic play to keep that Baltimore drive alive but after coming away empty-handed, the 'Ravens Flock' must be concerned by that Kansas City possession right before the half.

The Chiefs got the ball back with less than two minutes remaining in the second quarter but still managed to get within field-goal range to make it a two-score game.

Most importantly, the Ravens started to show some frustration, giving away two penalties through ill discipline. Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes revelled in seeing Baltimore began to crack.

That'll be that 'championship DNA' Tony Romo mentioned in the commentary. The defending champions seem to have found top form at just the right time of the season while the pressure looks to be getting to Baltimore.

  17. First half in numberspublished at 21:49 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

HT: Kansas City Chiefs 17–7 Baltimore Ravens

We can put a few numbers to Greg Brady's thoughts.

The Chiefs had double the number of yards on offense than the Ravens in that first half (221 to 110). Travis Kelce on his own had 96 of those.

Lamar Jackson only had the ball in his possession for nine minutes of the half hour's play.

The AFC's 'best team' really need to find something different after the break.

  18. How impressive are Kelce's stats?published at 21:48 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

I think they are really remarkable. I know there is some retirement speculation but I don’t think Travis Kelce will walk at the end of the season.

From where he came from, not really being a key part of the offence under Alex Smith and given tight ends really only have an era of two-to-three years of quality production.

Rob Gronkowski broke the mould by being good for about five years but Kelce has been elite for eight years. He has really consistent hands, can run after the catch and really, he’s done it all.

  19. Can Baltimore come back in second half?published at 21:43 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

HT Kansas City Chiefs 17-7 Baltimore Ravens

Ndamukong Suh, 2021 Super Bowl winner, on Sky Sports: "Last week against Houston you saw Baltimore come out after the half and just explode and show that confidence. You’ve got to watch out for that."

These fans are not used to this, but Baltimore's second-half form should give them hope.

Will the Ravens get back into this? Let's see who you think will win this from here?

Thumbs up for the Ravens, thumbs down for Kansas City...
