Wow! That was about as emphatic as it gets in terms of Super Bowl victories as the Philadelphia Eagles have just completely dismantled the double defending champion Kansas City Chiefs in New Orleans.

The three-peat has crashed and burned and Jalen Hurts and his boys have gained revenge from losing to the Chiefs two years ago.

And they've done it in style!

The Chiefs go onside kick but the Eagles recover and they can just kneel this game out in victory formation.

The celebrations have already started on the sidelines for Philadelphia with just two minutes of formalities to go through before they are officially crowned Super Bowl champions.

Jalen Hurts is out of the game, back-up quarterback Kenny Pickett is ine, and on the sidelines Nick Sirianni gets the traditional Gatorade shower.

And the drink was a kind of illuminous light green/yellow colour for those who are interested.

The Chiefs felt flat, they weren't ready for the moment. We talked about them being motivated by the three-peat, about being led by arguably the greatest quarterback we've ever seen.

But that hasn't happened - he's been uncomfortable and he's made untimely mistakes.

The onside kicks aren't anywhere enar as good as they used to be with the new rules - remember when Sean Payton of the New Orleans Saints did an onside kick to start the second half of a Super Bowl? Those were the days.

The Chiefs are moving along like we thought they'd do at the start of the game, but no obviously the intensity has gone out of the Eagles defence, and Kansas City drive down deep into the red zone.

A couple of quick passes to Travis Kelce from Patrick Mahomes as the Chiefs look to try and cut the size of what surely now will be a heavy Super Bowl defeat.
