Never watched a game before but I'm an insomniac so thought I would watch....absolutely hooked!

That's what we like to hear!

  3. Sack, fumble, turnover!published at 02:43 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February

Patrick Mahomes is tagged just as he's trying to lob a long pass down the field - the ball comes out and the Eagles dive on it to recover for yet another turnover.

The icing on the cake for this Eagles defence. That's a sixth sack of the game, just one off the Super Bowl record, and they've not had to blitz once!

Incredible pressure they manage to get from just the four men up front.

  4. Hurts for Super Bowl MVP?published at 02:43 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February

I think the MVP is going to be Jalen Hurts.

He's scrambled, he's used his legs and the offence has really run through him.

The defence has played so well across the board that it's so hard to single anyone out.

Frozen stiff walking home from a Super Bowl watch party relying on your live text to keep apprised of the outcome. Not exactly a plane but helpful all the same.

    Marcus, Edinburgh.

Leaving the party with 10 minutes still on the clock... are you a Chiefs fan by any chance, Marcus?

  6. field goal

Field goal - Eaglespublished at 02:40 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February

Kansas City Chiefs 6-37 Philadelphia Eagles

Jake Elliott hits a beauty from 48 yards - that one crossed miles up and would've been good from 60 probably.

And that kind of sums up the Eagles tonight, if I could only use one word it's be execution. They've executed their plans perfectly on both sides of the ball and hardly put a foot wrong.

  7. Sack!published at 02:38 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February

Kansas City Chiefs 6-34 Philadelphia Eagles

Dru Tranquill takes Jalen Hurts down behind the line of scrimmage and the Eagles are going to take a shot at a field goal.

No time to be taking any chances now.

Another galloping run by Jalen Hurts and again he picks just the right time to escape the oncoming pressure - he's a lot faster than you think as well for a quarterback who is so big and strong.

Please could we have a shout out to Oliver, Grace and Florence, and all the other children in the UK watching their first Super Bowl!

Hopefully they've enjoyd it and it's the first of many!

  10. Lionel Messi joins Inter Miami stars for Super Bowl 59published at 02:35 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February

We have been keeping an eye on the celebrities and stars in the stands watching the Eagles take their commanding lead into the fourth quarter.

Inter Miami's Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets have swapped soccer for American Football this evening.

  11. First down Brownpublished at 02:34 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February

Kansas City Chiefs 6-34 Philadelphia Eagles

Third catch of the night for AJ Brown on a crossing route again in front of Trent McDuffie, and again the big-bodied Brown (say that fast five times) just has too much size for the Chiefs cornerback.

We are flying over North America and this is the only access we have to the game. Reading play by play. Thanks BBC for the insights. We were hoping for a different outcome. However, seems like the Eagles are deserving of this massive win!

There's no name on this... but whoever you are, you're very welcome and thank you for the kind words! Safe travels.

Right then, into the fourth quarter we go. The Eagles have been spectacular tonight, and in truth a long possession ending with a score will probably seal this.

BUT, you just never know do you....

Makes you wonder what Josh Allen & the Bills are thinking! I also don't think the Lions would have stopped this Eagles team even if they had got past Washington.

For the Eagles - you've got 15 minutes until the biggest celebration of your life. But you've got to concentrate, you're not there yet.

Mahomes is still running round like a chicken with his head cut off and that's never a good sign if you're a Kansas City Chiefs fan.

At least the abomination of a Super Bowl that was the Patriots vs Rams was close going into the 4th quarter…

Magical again! Patrick Mahomes scrambling for his life once again but this time when he fires the ball across his body he finds a stooping Xavier Worthy in the end zone.

You knew anything the Chiefs got from here they'd have to work hard for, and Mahomes had to make three all-time throws just to get six points.

The two-point conversion fails so it's just the six points, but at least the dreaded shutout is gone.
