Big fan of the work McCullum and Stokes have done but feels a few players have been made undroppable and it’s costing England big time. Pope, Crawley and Woakes have to be dropped for others with some great options coming through.

Nicely done by Shoaib Bashir, knocking Jasprit Bumrah's second delivery into the covers and taking the single.

Washington Sundar has bowled beautifully today. He is such an underrated bowler in this Indian line-up.

  5. Eng 191-9published at 61 overs

Shoaib Bashir gets off strike immediately, turning Washington Sundar through point.

Jofra Archer then fends off the final five balls of the over.

India have edged ahead in the game but 190 runs will still be hard to come by if we bowl well. Would love 230-250 lead but at least there's something to bowl at here.

Jofra Archer to face Jasprit Bumrah.

He turns the second ball square, there's probably a single there but Archer turns it down at this point in the over.

The England seamer then drives Bumrah's final delivery past mid-off for four - vital runs, but the injured Bashir now faces Washington Sundar.

There were times in the first two Tests when it wasn’t clear who India’s captain was. Not so in this match. Shubman Gill is calling the shots.

Not sure we will even get three wickets as India knock off these runs, our attack is toothless and our batters have mainly given away their wicket. India will be calm and knock them off patiently. Unfortunately England fail to play the situation and are being found out at the moment.

Jofra Archer faces three balls before getting down the end from the fourth, clipping Washington Sundar through square.

He'll want to farm the majority of the strike here, you suspect.

We can debate England’s approach and tactics all day but the harsh truth is they are not technically good enough to win series against India & Australia.

Out walks Shoaib Bashir - England said at the start of today they would assess whether the spinner, who has an injured finger, would be needed to bat.

No question in this scenario really, every run will be crucial for England if they are to have the slightest hope in this Test.

This is the first time since 1906 that England have lost 11 batters to bowled in the same Test and also the first time India have bowled out 11 opponents.

    Woakes b Bumrah 10 (Eng 185-9)

    He's certainly OK to continue!

Another superb delivery from Jasprit Bumrah, not much Chris Woakes could do about that.

Nipping back in hard, clipping the top of the stumps.

    Magnificent bowling.

    Hello, what's this?

Jasprit Bumrah hobbles slightly out his follow-through and the physio comes on to spray his calf with cooling spray.

    He seems OK to continue...

Fantastic stuff here at Lord's, it really is. How do England play it from here? If you are Chris Woakes, perhaps try to get some runs off the off-spinner even though he has ripped the heart out of the England middle-order? Not sure if Shoaib Bashir is going to bat so this could be the last wicket.

We have absolutely no match awareness or way to play other than Bazball. After three years, have we really progressed at all as a side? Yes, the cricket is better on the eye but any tight situation we fold like a pack of cards.

Nothing there - the ball passes under the bat but there's no contact.

Archer fends off the final delivery of the over - he's safe... for now.
