Summary

  1. WI 7-0published at 2 overs

Gus Atkinson, England's 12-wicket hero from Lord's, will bowl from the other end to Mikyle Louis, the West Indies debutant in that Test.

Louis, who only made his first-class debut in February, looked reasonably handy in that match and he gets off the mark from his third ball today, knocking into the covers.

Work is at a standstill here in Edinburgh thanks to the IT issue, giving me the perfect opportunity to introduce everyone in the office to Test Match Special. Wonderful way to start the weekend!

That looks pretty flat to me, there's no swing.

If you get yourself in a decent position and play through the line, the outfield here will do the rest of the work for you.

Arguably the highlight of the day yesterday was Kevin Sinclair's cartwheel into a backward somersault after dismissing Harry Brook.

I'm not sure I've ever had anyone celebrate taking my wicket with such a spectacular display, but then I'm not Harry Brook (honest!) - indeed dismissing me is barely worth comment, let alone gymnastics.

Still, let us know - what's the wildest celebration you've encountered on the cricket field. In particular I'm looking for gigantic celebrations in innocuous settings.

Triple forward roll and a star jump on a barely mown strip beside a junkyard, that sort of thing.

Ollie Pope became the first centurion of the series yesterday, reaching 121 having been dropped twice.

Will we see a second century today?

The West Indies were rather hapless in the field yesterday, and will hope they fare rather better with the bat on day two.

The tourists were dismissed for 121 and 136 at Lord's, England have already scored more than those totals combined.

They'll need to do considerably better to stay in the series.

    Hello there!

The sun is shining, birds are singing, Trent Bridge is looking glorious. Wherever you are in the world, we'll ensure your thoughts are at least partly set on Nottingham, where we're set for an absolutely belting day of Test cricket.

England rather haphazardly made their way to 416 yesterday, now it's the West Indies' turn to have a bat. The hosts move forward with an Anderson-less attack - can Mark Wood step up now he's gone? Will Gus Atkinson repeat his exploits from Lord's? Can the tourists mount a reasonable challenge?

    Let's find out.
