    #bbccricket

We may have lost one of our nine County Championship games with last night's abandonment at Bristol, but there's plenty to play for in the remaining eight.

Will Rhodes' remarkable knock of 201 has put Warwickshire in pole position against Kent, while Sai Sudharsan's first Surrey century helped to maintain the Division One leaders' control against Nottinghamshire - despite a seven-wicket haul for 16-year-old Farhan Ahmed.

It was a memorable day for Hampshire's Liam Dawson, who followed up his century batting with the tail by taking four wickets to give his side the advantage over Lancashire.

Somerset teenager Archie Vaughan claimed his maiden first-class wicket before Durham fought back at Taunton through Brydon Carse and Ben Raine.

In Division Two, there were big centuries for Jonny Bairstow and George Hill as Yorkshire racked up 600 against Middlesex, while Glamorgan's Colin Ingram batted right through the day for his first-ever double hundred against Leicestershire.

Join us again for all the action tomorrow from 10:45 BST.

    Until then, goodbye!

A flurry of Wayne Madsen boundaries in the final over of day two moves his personal score on to 79.

Dawson scored 104 not out as he and Mohammad Abbas added 72 for the final wicket to take Hampshire to 389.

Then he has bowled 28 overs unchanged this afternoon with figures of 4-46 to turn the screw on Lancashire.

Daniel Bell-Drummond's 78 has given them a glimmer of hope in this second innings, but they still trail Warwickshire by 107 with seven wickets intact.

Jack Leaning and Joey Evison are the not-out pair, on 17 and 11 respectively.

  8. Derbyshire six downpublished at 18:35 British Summer Time 30 August

He is the top run-scorer across Division One and Two, and a little earlier he became the first batter to score more than 1,000 County Championship runs this season.

Ingram is really clocking up the milestones today.

He only has 27 from 79 deliveries, but he has halted the collapse which saw the innings fall from 102-1 to 122-6.

    Notts 144-3 v Surrey 525

The wicket of Brett Hutton brings an end to day two at Trent Bridge with two balls to spare.

At 140-1, Notts were going well but the loss of Haseeb Hameed and then Hutton to sharply turning balls from Will Jacks has changed the complexion of the day.

Surrey's 525 once again looks far off for Notts, who will begin tomorrow morning trailing by 381.

WICKET Iyer c Fuller b Abbott 27published at 18:05 British Summer Time 30 August

    Lancashire 170-7 v Hampshire 389

Oh James Fuller, that is a blinder of a catch!

Venkatesh Iyer was starting to warm to his task, having already hit Kyle Abbott for six, and he launches a full blooded drive off the South Africa seamer.

But the drive is in the air and Fuller moves well at cover to take a terrific sliding-diving catch.

Hampshire may fancy cleaning up the innings this evening.
