  1. wicket

WICKET: Robinson c Overton b Leach 26published at 15:05 British Summer Time 30 August

    Somerset 492 v Durham 128-3

The same combination works again for Somerset!

It's a carbon copy of the Scott Borthwick dismissal as Jack Leach turns one away from Ollie Robinson and he can only dab it towards the safe hands of Craig Overton at slip.

Pressure now on Ashton Turner as he makes his way to the middle, with Durham still needing another 215 to avoid the follow-on.

  2. wicket

SURREY ALL OUT FOR 525published at 14:59 British Summer Time 30 August

Notts v Surrey 525 all out

Surrey's first innings is finally over as Sai Sudharsan goes for 105, attempting to hit Farhan Ahmed for another big six.

But he is caught at long off for a fine century as Ahmed ends with a seventh wicket.

Despite two centuries and posting over 500, the headline is this 16-year-old taking seven wickets on debut.

He leaves to big applause with figures of 7-140 from 50.4 overs.

  3. 50 runs

50 for Alex Leespublished at 14:58 British Summer Time 30 August

    Somerset 492 v Durham 122-2

Alex Lees brings up his half-century from 101 balls and Durham would dearly love him to convert that into three figures - as he did in the last round against Nottinghamshire.

Lees' progress was aided by a generous couple of overs from Andy Umeed, which cost 16 and included a couple of full tosses - both of which were duly dispatched to the fence.

  4. YORKSHIRE DECLAREpublished at 14:56 British Summer Time 30 August

    Yorks 601-6 dec v Middx

George Hill swings Luke Hollman over midwicket for six to bring up the 600 - and that is the cue for captain Jonny Tattersall to wave the batters in.

Hill finishes on a career-best 169 not out, with Dom Bess unbeaten on 60 and Yorkshire will have 14 overs to bowl at Middlesex before tea.

  5. 100 runs

100 for Sai Sudharsanpublished at 14:55 British Summer Time 30 August

    Notts v Surrey 523-9

Sai Sudharsan takes the aerial route to Farhan Ahmed and he dispatches the ball over the ropes to bring up his century.

That is his first six to go with 10 fours as the landmark comes off 176 balls.

He is the seventh batter to make a Championship hundred for Surrey this summer.

  6. 50 runs

50 partnershippublished at 14:53 British Summer Time 30 August

    Lancashire 69-1 v Hampshire 389

Keaton Jennings and Josh Bohannon have played themselves in for Lancashire and benefitted from Kyle Abbott and Mohammad Abbas going off.

Their partnership is up to 57 with Jennings on 38 and Bohannon, 25.

  7. wicket

WICKET Walter c Jones b van Beek 33published at 14:51 British Summer Time 30 August

    Essex 207-6 v Worcs 266

Logan van Beek celebrating a wicketImage source, Rex Features

Two in two overs for the Pears!

Paul Walter goes soon after Tom Westley as Logan van Beek gets his first wicket of the match.

Walter tried to play at van Beek coming round the wicket and misjudges the bounce, with the ball hitting high up his bat and going into the grateful hands of slip Rob Jones.

    The pendulum swings again!

  8. wicket

WICKET McKerr c&b Ahmed 32published at 14:50 British Summer Time 30 August

    Notts v Surrey 516-9

A sixth wicket for Farhan Ahmed on debut!

With the last ball of his 50th over, he takes a smart return catch low down as Conor McKerr tries to drill one straight.

The 16-year-old looks one to watch, for sure.

McKerr had put on 50 with Sai Sudharsan for that ninth wicket as Surrey continue to rack up the runs.

  9. 50 runs

50 for Dom Besspublished at 14:49 British Summer Time 30 August

    Yorks 583-6 v Middx

Dom Bess becomes the fourth Yorkshire player to pass 50 in this innings - although two of them, including his current batting partner George Hill, have gone on to make big hundreds.

It's the 19th time Bess has passed 50 in his first-class career and the first this summer.

He takes a single off Sam Robson to reach the landmark from 65 balls.

  10. Season's best for Rhodespublished at 14:48 British Summer Time 30 August

    Warwickshire 389-6 v Kent 156

Joey Evison is too straight and Will Rhodes tucks it behind square for four to the short boundary.

He really has cashed in on that part of the ground - he has struck 30 fours in this innings.

This is now his best score of the season, beating his 178 not out against Durham in April.

  11. wicket

WICKET Westley c Roderick b Virdi 68published at 14:46 British Summer Time 30 August

    Essex 201-5 v Worcs 266

Amar Virdi has his first Worcestershire wicket thanks to a great grab by wicket-keeper Gareth Roderick as Tom Westley feathers behind.

It was a great knock from Westley when his team needed it.

  12. wicket

WICKET Burgess c Compton b Evison 8published at 14:41 British Summer Time 30 August

    Warwickshire 383-6 v Kent 156

Wicketkeeper Michael Burgess comes and goes fairly quickly as he tries to pull a short ball from Joey Evison.

But he goes for the much longer boundary and it's taken in the deep.

Some relief for Kent, but can someone help Will Rhodes along to his 200?

  13. Division Two updatepublished at 14:35 British Summer Time 30 August

    John SimpsonImage source, Getty Images

Sussex skipper John Simpson has just got out for 121 after completing his fourth century of the season.

Team-mate Jack Carson is eyeing a century on 86 not out as the hosts close in on 600 runs against a dispirited Derbyshire.

Glamorgan have moved into the lead against Leicestershire at Sophia Gardens.

Colin Ingram, unbeaten on 133, is a big reason as to how they have been able to do that.

  14. 500 up for Surreypublished at 14:35 British Summer Time 30 August

    Notts v Surrey 503-8

Liam Patterson-White drops short and Conor McKerr helps himself by pulling it legside for four.

The Surrey 500 comes up, although they are not in the greatest hurry.

  15. 150 for George Hillpublished at 14:30 British Summer Time 30 August

    Yorks 560-6 v Middx

George Hill (Yorkshire)Image source, Rex Features

Applause for George Hill, who passes 150 and then adds another couple to overtake his previous highest first-class score - an unbeaten 151 against Northamptonshire two years ago.

Hill has put on 80 with Dom Bess, who is 35 not out and Yorkshire are advancing steadily towards 600.

  16. 200 up for Essexpublished at 14:30 British Summer Time 30 August

    Essex 200-4 v Worcs 266

A 50 partnership between Tom Westley (68) and Paul Walter (29) has moved the hosts past the 200 mark.

The Essex ship did need steadying and they have done just that to move their side within 66 runs of the Pears' total.

  17. wicket

WICKET: Borthwick c Overton b Leach 35published at 14:28 British Summer Time 30 August

    Somerset 492 v Durham 86-2

    Big wicket for Somerset!

Jack Leach gets one to pitch and turn and Scott Borthwick can only edge it low to slip, where Craig Overton scoops it up and immediately punches the air in delight.

Ollie Robinson comes in at number four for the visitors.

  18. Double change in Hants attackpublished at 14:27 British Summer Time 30 August

    Lancashire 43-1 v Hampshire 389

After eight overs apiece from Kyle Abbott and Mohammad Abbas either side of lunch, we have the first change in the Hampshire attack.

John Turner replaces Abbott with his height and bounce. But he is too short on his second ball and Keaton Jennings welcomes it by pulling it for four as the over goes for six.

Then there is a change at the James Anderson End with James Fuller introduced.

His first ball is overpitched and Josh Bohannon helps himself to four.

Fuller's over goes for six and it helps the scoreboard to start moving a bit more.

  19. Postpublished at 14:22 British Summer Time 30 August

    Somerset 492 v Durham 84-1

A change of angle for Jack Leach, who's switched to around the wicket against this left-handed Durham pair.

But it's still young Archie Vaughan who is really catching the eye - he fizzed an absolute beauty of an off-break just past the edge of Alex Lees' bat just now.

Durham are progressing well, though, with Lees on 34 and Scott Borthwick 35.

  20. wicket

WICKET Barnard c Leaning b Parkinson 65published at 14:22 British Summer Time 30 August

    Warwickshire 364-5 v Kent 156

Matt Parkinson's endless enthusiasm for bowling is rewarded in his 22nd over.

Ed Barnard advances but gets it nowhere near the middle of the bat and the ball balloons up for Jack Leaning to take the catch.

It ends a stand of 145 between him and Will Rhodes.

But the Bears still lead by 208 and can really drive the nail into Kent's chances this afternoon.
