    Karunaratne c&b Woakes 8 (SL 39-1)

    Got him!

It's an odd wicket but Chris Woakes won't care. Dimuth Karunaratne inside edges onto his pad, allowing the ball to loop into the hands of a diving Woakes.

There's no massive celebration. England know there is work to do.

The sky may be blue but it is already getting gloomy at the Oval as the sun dips behind the tall buildings nearby.

Pathum Nissanka doesn't look bothered. Three more are added by him on the drive.

  15. SL 36-0published at 6 overs

Need 183 more runs to win

Pathum Nissanka is rattling along with 28 from 20 balls but it hasn't felt quite as kamikaze as Dan Lawrence earlier. There haven't been wild swings, just solid strokes.

Olly Stone won't be far away.

Already one or two England fielders look frustrated.
