Time for us to leave it there for this game.

Here's Sam Drury's match report as West Indies book their place in the T20 World Cup Super 8s and leave New Zealand's hopes hanging by a thread.

There's two more games to come on Thursday.

First up is Bangladesh v Netherlands in Group D from 15:30 BST. It could go a long way to deciding who joins South Africa in progressing from that group.

Then, it's a big one. England face Oman knowing they have to win and ideally by a large margin if they are to have any chance of progressing. We'll be live with that one from 19:30 BST, with first ball at 20:00. You get yourself prepared by listening to the last Test Match Special podcast.

    See you later!

  2. 'Individual brilliance is needed in T20 cricket sometimes'published at 05:32 British Summer Time 13 June

West Indies captain Rovman Powell: "I am very happy. We found ourselves in some trouble but thank you to all the guys in Trinidad.

"We knew someone would have to play a blinder because we knew it wouldn't be an easy wicket because of the inclement weather that we've had. We believe individual brilliance is needed in T20 cricket sometimes and it was a fantastic knock from Sherfane Rutherford.

"We watched what the New Zealand bowlers did well and tried to replicate that. We knew the hard length was difficult. At the half way mark we sat down as a group and said about our pacers hitting a hard length and our spinners trying to spin the ball."

New Zealand captain Kane Williamson: "It was good. We had an inkling it was going to be quite tough and that proved to be the case. You've got to find a way and the difference can be an over or two. The quality of Sherfane Rutherford's innings was of the highest. It was incredibly impressive and frustrating for us.

"The batting depth in their side was beneficial and we knew there would be some tough overs for us and the match-ups weren't quite what we wanted. We wanted to take wickets and T20 is full of small margins and unfortunately it didn't come for us today.

"Conditions are what they are here and you've got to get your head around them quickly. We can't make excuses. If you find a way it might be the matter of 10-15 runs and it make the difference.

"We want to see better performances and be smarter. We'll pick ourselves up and go again."

  4. 'It is only the start of something'published at 05:23 British Summer Time 13 June

Player of the match Sherfane Rutherford: "I was at the IPL for two months so I have been preparing even though I wasn't playing. I've done a lot of work and planning for this. I was backing my skill, that was the key.

"I was telling myself to take it deep and keep rotating the strike. I knew if I started to feel the momentum I could always make up at the end.

"I knew they were short of two overs so I was just telling myself to take it deep because I knew I could score maximum runs off those.

"It is only the start of something big to come and hopefully we can keep winning and momentum going."

Very good win for West Indies. It wasn't easy, they've had to do it tough.

Six overs into their innings, they were looking very much second best and it looked like an early finish.

Rutherford was outstanding in the way he played and shepherded the innings. He used his brain and got them to a score that was 20 or 30 runs beyond their wildest dreams.

With the ball, they weren't at their clinical best but they got the job done. Motie was outstanding, so was Joseph.

A capacity crowd at Brian Lara Academy are loving what they've seen.

They've been entertained, not only by Sherfane Rutherford with the bat - he pretty much won them this game when you look at the margin of victory - but the bowling has been pretty outstanding as well.

What figures from Alzarri Joseph, quietly he's taken 4-19.
