Sophie Devine is the player of the match. She took 2-15 and dismissed Meg Lanning and Lauren Winfield-Hill.

"I feel a bit embarrassed because today was a great team effort," she says.

"So many people should be standing here instead of me. Today was exceptional. I am really proud of everyone.

"There is a real focus on each and every game. We will reflect and celebrate the success of today but we have a big job to go to make sure we finish this comp strong."

Such a clinical performance from Southern Brave! They executed almost everything well, from their timing to their game plan to their batting. Freya Kemp even came in and put up some crucial runs at the end, batting two per ball at least.

Georgia Adams has captained this really well. Her bowling plans were clear and she knew exactly what match-ups to go for early doors to get those top batters out early - not one of the top four scored more than 10 runs.

Oval Invincibles net run-rate is now -0.470 - by far the worst of the teams in the top-six places.

    A bad, bad day.

Oval Invincibles will have to win the rest of their matches after this one and their net run-rate, if it gets down to it, is going to come into play.

SOUTHERN BRAVE WIN BY 89 RUNSpublished at 17:29 BST 18 August

Oval Invincibles cannot avoid the heaviest defeat in the tournament's history.

They are bowled out for 72. Southern Brave win by 89 runs and have won five from five this year.

  9. Invincibles 70-9published at 20 balls left

Need 91 runs from 20 balls

These two batters probably don't know it but they only need another four runs to ensure this isn't the heaviest defeat in the women's Hundred.

Oval Invincibles have played some really loose shots this afternoon. Their shots haven't been convincing and they don't look like they have been backing themselves on shots.

I think that's probably been the difference here. Southern Brave have also bowled particularly well.

  11. Invincibles 68-9published at 24 balls left

    94 runs needed

Amanda-Jade Wellington must be wondering what is going on. She has just biffed her third four down the order.

Lauren Bell likes to bowl those slower and wider deliveries at the death. She always executes them really well and her knuckle balls are actually really good as well.

She is showing her experience but to be fair to Amanda-Jade Wellington she is giving it her juice and she has played some nice shots so far.

The boundaries Mady Villiers was hit for were full but straight down the ground, so she just moved her line a little bit to outside off stump.

Because of that change, Sophia Smale could only manage to slice it to Georgia Adams for a catch which was well-taken. She actually made it look simpler than it was.
