Smart bowling! Georgia Adams bowled it wide and full so Tash Farrant had to really reach for it. It was comfortably taken by Mady Villiers.

    Farrant c Villiers b Adams 1 (Invincibles 47-8)

Georgia Adams knows what she is doing after all! Tash Farrant has a swing and all she manages is to lob a catch to extra cover.

  6. Invincibles 47-7published at 45 balls left

Georgia Adams is teasing us. She brings herself on, making us and Lauren Bell wait for her hat-trick ball.

It looks like there's maybe a lack of imagination for Oval Invincibles.

The last three wickets have all been taken on the slog sweep. There are other ways of scoring runs as well! I understand that when you're under pressure, more often than not the go-to shot is the heave to just about anywhere on the on side.

Jo Gardner missed it completely. It looked almost pre-meditated.

  8. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 48 balls left

    Gardner b Corteen-Coleman 10 (Invincibles 45-7)

This is ugly. Tilly Corteen-Coleman has her first wicket after another swipe across the line.

We're looking at one of the biggest defeats seen in The Hundred.

  9. Invincibles 45-6published at 50 balls left

    Need 117 from 50 balls

Brave are heading top of the table after this with five wins from five. They'll be able to start planning for the final before long.

There is a big gap between long on and mid-wicket, but rather than targeting that both Marizanne Kapp and Phoebe Franklin wanted to play it finer.

It becomes more difficult to control it then because you have to use a lot of that bottom hand and you have to keep your eyes on the ball. The more finer you want to hit, the less power you get behind your shot.

  11. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 52 balls left

    Franklin c Wolvaardt b Villiers 1 (Invincibles 43-6)

This is a sorry slide for Oval Invincibles. Phoebe Franklin is the latest to offer a catch - chipping one up off the top-edge on the sweep.

Good bowling from Mady Villiers, she is keeping it simple and bowling wicket to wicket. You miss, I hit. More often than not, the most successful bowlers keep it simple.

Marizanne Kapp never really got this innings going, apart from that one shot over mid-on. It wasn't her day and she wasn't at her fluent best. It's been one of those days with the bat.

  13. Invincibles 43-5published at 53 balls left

Mady Villiers is bowling 10 on the spin here after such a good start.

Oval Invincibles' net run-rate isn't that bad at the minute, but if they have a big loss here then it will almost feel like a loss and a half. You not only lose the two points but you also lose a fair bit on the net run-rate count.

  15. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 56 balls left

    Kapp b Villiers 10 (Invincibles 41-5)

    That should be the game.

Marizanne Kapp, the latest of the Invincibles' big names remaining, is bowled attempting a hack across the line to spinner Mady Villiers.

This is great captaincy from Georgia Adams, who is just making sure Southern Brave have their best bowlers bowling right now to just kill the game.

She doesn't want this game to drift, she just wants to kill it.

  17. Invincibles 39-4published at 60 balls left

    Target 162

Rhianna Southby has been very good behind the stumps here. For a second it looked like she has nipped out Jo Gardner with a stumping to a wide down the leg side.

It was rapid work but Gardner has her bat down. Impressive nonetheless.

  18. 6 runs

Invincibles 36-4published at 62 balls left

Jo Gardner gets off the mark with a six pulled all of the way over the fence. This short ball was just too straight from Sophie Devine.

Lauren Bell, that is a superb delivery to get Paige Scholfield out! It was well-directed and obviously another bouncer.

That was following Paige Scholfield, who did try to give herself some room to go over third, but the pace and the height was too much for her and she could only feather her shot.

Lauren Bell is on a hat-trick now - she deserves it.

  20. Postpublished at 16:57 British Summer Time

Lauren Bell is going to have to wait for her hat-trick ball, rather than being given 10 on the spin.

Sophie Devine is back. She has 2-4 from 10 balls.
