Oval Invincibles really wouldn't have wanted to lose a wicket there.

Meg Lanning was adamant it wasn't out, I saw her signalling straight away that they needed to review it. That was very close though.

Lauren Winfield-Hill will be delighted, she will want to steer this one home as captain.

    Missing!

    Something just didn't look right.

It was on leg stump from Tilly Corteen-Coleman. Going over too.

Lbw against Lauren Winfield-Hill? This would be an ideal start for Brave.

Lauren Bell has had a great start there, just two runs from the first five deliveries.

Oval Invincibles have got a big ask here in terms of where they are going to go and when they are going to go. Are they going to try to take it fairly deep or are they going to try and kick on to get an early start? We'll see in the next 10 deliveries.

Need 160 more runs to win

Meg Lanning's scores in this tournament read 85, 56, 36, 23. She has been in fine form but those returns are decreasing.

Lauren Bell's start is a good one.

    Target 162

If anyone in this competition is going to chase down 162 then you'd back a top four with Lauren Winfield-Hill, Leg Lanning, Alice Capsey and Marizanne Kapp...

161-6 is the third highest score batting first at Southampton in the women's Hundred.

Top-3 scores batting first at Southampton in the women's Hundred:

    166-3 v Welsh Fire, 2021

    165-3 Welsh Fire v Brave, 2023

    161-6 Brave v Invincibles, 2025

For a while it looked like Brave may get even more but this will still require the highest chase in the women's Hundred.

The top nine scores in the competition have all been made batting first.

Brave look favourites to claim another victory against Oval Invincibles - they've never lost in the group stage to the London side, but did experience defeat to today's opponents in the tournament's first two finals.

To see if they can wrap up another victory, here's Matthew Henry.

That's a pretty imposing total, even though this is a good batting surface and there is nothing to suggest otherwise so far. This chase is doable and possible.

Oval Invincibles haven't really won a match by chasing down so far, so this could be an interesting run chase.

    Franklin 2-28 (20 balls)

Run-out off the final ball perhaps... no.

New batter Maddy Villiers strikes out to mid-wicket and comes back for a second run - if the throw had come into the keeper straight away then Villiers might have been in trouble, but it has to be relayed from the bowler's end and the batter gets home safe.

That's the end of the innings - Oval Invincibles will chase 162.

Freya Kemp just tried to go across the line over square leg. Oval Invincibles forced her to do that because of the two fielders being very straight and defending her attacking zone.

It's been that kind of a season for Lauren Winfield-Hill, she almost said: 'I don't mind if someone else wants to take this catch'.

    Kemp c & b Franklin 24 (Brave 157-6)

Skewed up in the air... and caught!

Freya Kemp goes for a big heave into the leg side and offers a big leading edge that flies into the Southampton sky.

Bowler Phoebe Franklin runs almost to the batting crease to claim the catch and Kemp becomes the latest Brave batter to walk off looking distinctly unimpressed.

Smart batting again from Southern Brave, getting a couple of runs there.

The best part about Freya Kemp is her bat swing. Her big shots aren't square of the wicket, they aren't slogs, they are actually down the ground. That's the reason she can consistently hit her big shots.

Southern Brave have hit four sixes so far today — more than the combined total of just three in their past four games. Their 20 boundaries (fours and sixes) today are also the most they’ve hit in a match this season.

  17. Brave 155-5published at 95 balls

Captain Georgia Adams is next out of the dug-out, she takes an immediate single out to long-off before Kemp runs a couple of twos.

That's Kapp done with figures of 1-25.

Marizanne Kapp is just keeping it simple, isn't she? She is keeping it straight and wicket to wicket. You miss, I hit - that's exactly what has happened there.

Chloe Devine tried that big heave over mid-wicket but just misses it completely.

Marizanne Kapp is a banker. Wherever she plays, you can depend on her.

    Tryon b Kapp 3 (Brave 150-5)

    Marizanne Kapp strikes!

The leading wicket taker for the Invincibles gets her first scalp of the innings, accounting for compatriot Chloe Tryon with a ball that beat an across-the-line mow and clattered the stumps.

  20. Brave 150-4published at 91 balls

150 up for Southern Brave in slightly comical fashion.

Marizanne Kapp's first delivery drifts down the leg side and the debutant Daisy Gibb tries to scoop the ball away from the rope, but gets too much on it and the ball loops back round and over the boundary for five wides.
