That is a beauty. It just rattles into off-stump. He is a genius.

'Superstar' Bumrah bowls Tongue for five-wicket haul as England all out for 465

    And that's that!

Jasprit Bumrah gets his five-fer, cleaning up Josh Tongue with a delivery that came in and possibly kept a little low.

England walk off with a first innings deficit of six - a fair bit better than most may have anticipated.

I think we all would have taken a 10-run deficit after day one...

What an extraordinary shot! He has poked the ball over extra cover to the Beefy Bothams in the stands.

    And there's his second boundary!

Having faced five deliveries without scoring, Tongue makes room and lifts Jadeja over the covers for four.

  6. Eng 460-9published at 99 overs

Shoaib Bashir is last out for England, and he defends Bumrah's final delivery.

That would have been tea, but with England nine down the session will now be extended.

By the way, prior to the Woakes dismissal, Tongue scored his first boundary of the innings, edging through third.

You can just tell that Woakes isn't right here. I'm not sure if he has done something to his hip.

He very rarely lets England down however, but he will be disappointed.

That has gone straight through him! It was full and fast. Bumrah has done it again.

    Woakes b Bumrah 38 (Eng 460-9)

Back comes Bumrah, and guess what - he's got India a wicket.

The India seamer cleans up Chris Woakes, who looks a little uncomfortable walking off.

He walks off having made a very worthy contribution to this innings - England now trail by just 11 runs.

Why do so many England fans think it’s better to get out after scoring 15 runs off 60 balls rather than 20 runs off 20 balls?

Successive maidens for Jadeja, again bowling to Woakes.

He's gone for 64 from his 22 overs.

Woakes gets an over off as Tongue faces all of Siraj's over.

The England number 10 gets his innings started with a two off the pads, the one scoring shot of the over.

The physio has arrived for Chris Woakes. He seems to be mimicking his shot to show what he has pulled.

We've had a little break as Chris Woakes gets some attention from the physios.

Not quite sure what he's done - but he seems to be OK to continue.

No need for that from Carse. Positivity is fine, but brainless slogging is not. Another wicket gifted.

India have been expensive. Thakur and Krishna have gone for a fair few runs.

At Headingley, the ball flies everywhere but you do get a little bit more control with a spinner however.

  17. Eng 453-8published at 96 overs

First bit of spin with this ball, as Ravindra Jadeja comes back to replace Krishna.

He starts with a maiden to Woakes, who comes very close to edging behind from the final delivery of the over, although Pant ends up putting it down.

  18. Eng 453-8published at 95 overs

Out comes Josh Tongue and he survives the last delivery of Siraj's over, an outswinger.

That is good bowling. Carse went really early, he was a good metre outside of leg stump. Carse was trying to hit it to that vacant side but Siraj saw it coming.

  20. wicket

    Carse b Siraj 22 (Eng 453-8)

    Media caption,

'Brilliant from Siraj!' - full and straight delivery bowls Carse for 22

    Stumps splattered.

Brydon Carse backs away so early that Mohammed Siraj is barely in his delivery stride, and gets so far back he's almost in the car park.

That, of course, leaves his stumps exposed, and Siraj cleans them up despite Carse's attempted low cut.
