  1. Pak 98-8published at 29 overs

    Target 222

Another over goes by, four runs come from it and Pakistan's required rate remains a touch under six-an-over.

Not that they will be too concerned with that at this stage. Just frustrating Australia will be the main aim.

  2. Not outpublished at 28.2 overs

    Pak 96-8

Doesn't matter where the impact was because it brushes the glove. Might well have hit outside the line, too. Other than that a good shout...

Not out and Australia are out of reviews.

  3. Australia reviewpublished at 28.2 overs

    Pak 94-8

Australia go for another review as Rameen Shamim misses a sweep and is hit on the pad by Georgia Wareham.

This is all about whether the impact is in line, I think...

  4. Pak 94-8published at 28 overs

    Target 222

A moment of light relief as the ball bounces up, potentially off the glove, and gets stuck between Nashra Sandhu's arm and body.

Australia skipper Alyssa Healy offers to just take the ball from her but the Pakistan batter is not falling for that.

She turns away and makes sure the ball drops to the turf a good distance away from Healy.

  5. Pak 94-8published at 27 overs

    Target 222

Let's be honest, it's not the most thrilling passage of play as Pakistan plod along with their hopes of victory diminishing with every over that passes.

But it's not up to them to just hand Australia an easy victory, they will make the defending champions work to finish this off.

In tournament cricket, being challenged is one of the most important things. The challenge gives the team a bit of belief and resilience. You want to end up peaking towards the end.

For Australia to be challenged and come through, it will be really good for them.

  7. Pak 92-8published at 26 overs

    Target 222

Ash Gardner switches to round the wicket to the right-handed Nashra Sandhu and causes her a few problems.

No wicket and no maiden either as what should be the last ball of the over slides down leg. That's the only run from it.

  8. Pak 91-8published at 25 overs

    Target 222

Two from Georgia Wareham's latest and it ends with left-hander Rameen Shamim missing as she attempts a big sweep.

The outcome of this one is now beyond all reasonable doubt but Pakistan will still want to show some fight.

  9. Not outpublished at 24 overs

    Pak 89-8

Umpire's call on impact and bouncing over the top as well. Australia lose the review.

You feel that was taken because Ash Gardner and Alyssa Healy felt it was such a good ball, dipping late and turning sharply past the inside edge, that it deserved a wicket.

  10. Australia reviewpublished at 23.4 overs

    Pak 87-8

Ripper from Ash Gardner to hit Nashra Sandhu in front.

Great ball and they want to see if it was going to hit the stumps. Review taken.

    Let's see...

Those extra 50 runs that Australia got through the brilliant partnership of Beth Mooney and Alana King, has just put on heaps of pressure for Pakistan and they have felt the pressure, causing that wicket.

  12. Pak 86-8published at 23 overs

    Target 222

Nashra Sandhu sees off the last two balls of the over but it's a successful first set for Georgia Wareham.

The end is nigh now, surely?

That is an example of a bad ball to sweep!

    Baig lbw b Wareham 7 (Pak 86-8)

No bat involved and hitting two-thirds of the way up middle.

After such a good shot the previous ball, it poor shot selection from Diana Baig.

Far too full to sweep and she is slap bang in front of middle once she misses it.

  15. Pakistan reviewpublished at 22.4 overs

    Pak 86-7

    Gone next ball, surely?

Diana Baig attempts a sweep off middle stump and is given out lbw.

If she hasn't got an bat or glove on this then she is plumb.

  16. Pak 86-7published at 22.3 overs

Lovely shot from Diana Baig, thumping Georgia Wareham back down the ground for four.

  17. Pak 79-7published at 22 overs

Diana Baig is the new batter for Pakistan and ends the over by working a single.

With Pakistan's last recognised batter gone, Australia will be hopeful of wrapping this up quickly.

There has been zero success going down the ground. That was always going to end in that way - caught mid-on.

  19. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 21.2 overs

    Amin c Sutherland b Gardner 35 (Pak 78-7)

A tame end for Sidra Amin.

Having worked so hard to keep Pakistan going, the right-hander tries to hit Ash Gardner over the top but just chips the ball to mid-on.

Simple catch for Annabel Sutherland and Australia take another step towards victory.

  20. Pak 78-6published at 21 overs

    Target 222

Bouncer to start the over from Annabel Sutherland and, with Alyssa Healy stood up to the stumps, when Rameen Shamim ducks it, the ball bursts through the keeper's gloves and away for four byes.

That's followed by another slower ball that kicks up to hit Shamim but does bring a single.

Four more! Banged in short by Sutherland and Sidra Amin gets just enough on the pull shot to take it to the fine leg boundary.

Good over for Pakistan - 10 from it.
