Thanks, Matt. Hopefully Pakistan can hang around long enough for you to get that report in order...

  2. Pak 32-5published at 9 overs

So quickly is this collapse happening, I'm going to have to hand back to Sam Drury. Enjoy.

This is disappointing. Fatima went for an almighty hack across the line and not needed. That's what you do when you are under pressure, Pakistan certainly are.

  4. wicket

    Fatima b Garth 0 (Pak 31-5)

This has all gone wrong for Pakistan. A hideous slog from Eyman Fatima results in her being cleaned up. Kim Garth has three.

This could be over very quickly.

Megan Schutt has had a lengthy career and taken a lot of wickets for Australia and that is an unbelievable achievement.

Aussie skipper Alyssa Healy was walking away after just the first replay. It was hitting leg stump but only umpire's call.

Australia keep their review and Eyman Fatima, brought in to strengthen Pakistan's batting in this match, survives.

Two in the over and a fifth overall?

I think this lbw shout is missing leg but Alyssa Healy wants another look.

That looked like catching practice for Beth Mooney. Perfectly into her hand.

  9. wicket

    Parvaiz c Mooney b Schutt 1 (Pak 30-4)

Runs and now a catch for Beth Mooney.

She gobbles up a guide off the face of the Natalia Parvaiz's bat at slip.

  10. Pak 30-3published at 9 overs

It's funny how things change. A few hours ago we'd have been saying after this match how some Australian frailties have been exposed. Now it'll be how they've shown exactly why they're the overwhelming favourites.

Ash Gardner sprawls to stop a guide from Sidra Amin and Beth Mooney swoops in to hurl a throw. They're so professional in the field. Elite.

Beautifully bowled by Kim Garth, perfect length. I have been impressed with Garth over the last few years. She just has this ability to set up batters.

  12. wicket

    Nawaz c Healy b Garth 5 (Pak 29-3)

A beauty from Kim Garth. Sidra Nawaz nicks it behind.

Australia's 76-7 feels a very long time ago now.

Only the Pakistan cricket teams can go from over 90% winning chances to losing the game!

    Harshad, Cleethorpes

Be fair, Harshad, England have given it a good go on a few occasions that I can think of...

  14. Pak 29-2published at 6 overs

Sidra Nawaz is having quite the day. She took two stumpings as wicketkeeper yesterday and now she eases her first ball for four.

I tend to be honest and Annabel Sutherland immediately said there was a wicket and as a fielder you tend to know if you have caught it. Pakistan are looking in a spot of bother.

  16. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 5.3 overs

    Muneeba c Sutherland b Schutt 3 (Pak 24-2)

It's given! I'm surprised by that. Annabel Sutherland was convinced but the replay suggested it was one of those that touched grass through the fingers as the ball was taken.

Those relays are always a bit tricky.

I think this will be given not out.

  18. Umpire reviewpublished at 14:57 BST 8 October

    Caught at mid-off... I think.

Annabel Sutherland appears confident. Did it carry?

Australia won't be too worried at the moment, they are just bowling a bit short. Pakistan are also running square of the wicket.

There's still no sign of Australia turning to their spinners, of which they have plenty. I'll be interested to see whether any dew, or the lack of sun beating down on this Colombo pitch, reduces the amount of spin.
