  1. 'A comprehensive bowling performance'published at 15:22 British Summer Time 19 April

    Warwickshire 93 v Notts 1-0

    Mike Taylor
    BBC WM commentator

Not withstanding the conditions I think you would do better to see too many more comprehensive bowling performances than we've seen there from Nottinghamshire over yesterday and today.

So Brett Hutton and Fergus O'Neill with five wickets apiece and a thoroughgoing undermining of Warwickshire's first innings for just 93.

I don't know what would have been a good score in those conditions but it would have been more than that.

  2. Where are Yorkshire wickets coming from?published at 15:22 British Summer Time 19 April

    Durham 186-1 v Yorkshire 307

    Martin Emmerson
    BBC Radio Newcastle

Alex Lees has batted really nicely today.

Despite losing Ben McKinney in the sixth over this morning, Durham have not really appeared to be in too much trouble since. Yorkshire need wickets but where are they coming from?

  3. Notts begin their replypublished at 15:20 British Summer Time 19 April

    Warwickshire 93 v Notts 1-0

Warwickshire need to fight back strongly and, if they can, do a Notts.

Ethan Bamber's first over is very decent, working over Notts skipper Haseeb Hameed around his off stump.

The returning Olly Hannon-Dalby takes the new ball at the other end and, the man with 50 wickets in each of the last three seasons, goes for three in his first over back after missing the first two games with injury.

  4. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:04 British Summer Time 19 April

    Westley lbw b Waite 3 (Essex 179 & 63-2 v Worcestershire 202)

    Pretty straightforward this one.

Matthew Waite bowls a straight one, and Tom Westley gets forward and plays it with his knee roll.

Looks like it was hitting all three.

    Essex effectively 40-2.

  5. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:03 British Summer Time 19 April

    Fernando b Hutton 0 (Warwickshire 93 v Nottinghamshire)

    Bears are done.

Vishwa Fernando is the last batter. He's in and out. First ball from Brett Hutton cleans him up as he shuffles out of line a touch to one that smashes into his off stump.

Hutton joins Fergus O'Neill in the five-for club.

    Hutton's 5-38 best v Bears; O'Neill's 5-19 best ever.

A brilliant exhibition of how to bowl in these conditions from both men.

  6. No-ball saves Prestpublished at 15:01 British Summer Time 19 April

    Hampshire 40-1 v Somerset 184

Massive lbw shout dies in the throats of Somerset's fielders as umpire David Millns raises an arm to the horizontal.

The reaction of Migael Pretorius who sinks to his knees and holds his head says that was out.

That would have been a third wicket in seven balls for the visitors. But as it is Hampshire get a life.

  7. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:00 British Summer Time 19 April

    Smith c Tongue b Hutton 9 (Warwickshire 93-9 v Nottinghamshire)

    The end is nigh.

Kai Smith attempts to launch Brett Hutton into the media centre but cloths is up for Josh Tongue to move round to take an easy catch.

  8. 100 runs

for Leespublished at 15:00 British Summer Time 19 April

    Durham 160-1 v Yorkshire 307

Alex Lees celebrates centuryImage source, Getty Images

A 17th first-class century under a Durham helmet for Alex Lees and it is brought up in elegant fashion with a silky cover drive off George Hill.

It was the 18th boundary and it took the Durham opener 126 deliveries to reach three figures.

Yorkshire are under the pump here and it is Lees who is working the handle.

  9. 'This is an unpredictable pitch'published at 14:58 British Summer Time 19 April

    Hampshire 42-2 v Somerset 184

    Anthony Gibson
    BBC Radio Somerset

The unpredictability of this pitch - it looks flat ball after ball, it won't do very much and then suddenly you get one like that one from Migael Pretorius.

Somerset are now very much on their toes.

  10. Are Sussex about to get on with it?published at 14:56 British Summer Time 19 April

    Sussex 334-5 v Surrey

    Adrian Harms
    BBC Sussex

I just got the feeling that Sussex are wanting to get on with it a little bit.

John Simpson had just played a bit like that. It was a bit short but he pulled it straight to Dom Sibley who took a comfortable catch.

  11. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:54 British Summer Time 19 April

    Bamber c Verreynne b O'Neill 1 (Warwickshire 93-8 v Nottinghamshire)

    More Bears misery.

Fergus O'Neill has five. Ethan Bamber's been looking to force things outside his off stump and he's got a booming drive out and nick off to Kyle Verreynne behind the timbers.

Not a bad scoop that either because it was dying all the time.

    Bears in bits.

At the moment, O'Neill's got career-best first-class figures of 5-19

  12. 'Ogborne has looked the part'published at 14:53 British Summer Time 19 April

    Hampshire 38-2 v Somerset 184

    Anthony Gibson
    BBC Radio Somerset

Alfie Ogborne has looked the part. Not just taking the wicket but he's bowled really nicely.

  13. Back out in Birminghampublished at 14:53 British Summer Time 19 April

    Warwickshire 92-7 v Nottinghamshire

Kai Smith and Ethan Bamber have one heck of a job on here to put Warwickshire's first innings back on the rails.

Brett Hutton's been a nightmare for the Bears so far and he very nearly has another as Bamber tries to cut one a bit too close to his body and he's millimeters away from feathering it.

But he survives the first over back.

  14. Division Two latestpublished at 14:52 British Summer Time 19 April

Tom Scriven celebrates taking wicketImage source, Rex Features

Leicestershire seamer Tom Scriven has removed the dangerous Marcus Harris for 77 at Old Trafford. Lancashire are now 197-5 and it feels like the game is at a pivotal point.

Middlesex are just 12 behind Glamorgan now on 187-2 at Lord's. Max Holden has gone past fifty.

Ben Compton (49 not out) is driving Kent's first innings against Gloucestershire. The hosts are 111-3 at Canterbury, trailing by 361.

Northants are off to a good start in their first innings at Derbyshire moving to 56-0.

  15. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:51 British Summer Time 19 April

    Stoneman b Pretorius 17 (Hampshire 38-2 v Somerset 184)

And Somerset are back in this game with a second wicket.

Long way to go for the visitors but two in five balls, the second of which sees Migael Pretorius rearrange Mark Stoneman's stumps with a right old clatter, gives them hope.

  16. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:49 British Summer Time 19 April

    Simpson c Sibley b Atkinson 15 (Sussex 334-5 v Surrey)

Short arm pull straight down midwicket's throat.

The in-form John Simpson goes for the leg side pull and kind of stops on it halfway through and it is catching practice for Dom Sibley fielding 20 yards from the bat at midwicket.

That's two wickets for England paceman Gus Atkinson now.

  17. 'Pears needed that wicket'published at 14:47 British Summer Time 19 April

    Essex 53-1 & 179 v Worcestershire 202

    Melinda Farrell
Sports broadcaster/journalist on BBC Hereford & Worcestershire

    Worcestershire really needed that wicket.

This opening partnership between Paul Walter and Charlie Allison was shaping up to be a very good one.

  18. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:45 British Summer Time 19 April

    Allison c Roderick b Waite 24 (Essex 179 & 53-1 v Worcestershire 202)

Worcestershire celebrate taking wicketImage source, Rex Features

    A much-needed breakthrough for Worcestershire.

It's not the best shot from Charlie Allison. Matthew Waite sends a regulation delivery down and Allison plays a fair bit away from his body and is over the top of it.

It's a thin underside edge and Gareth Roderick bags it.

Worcestershire will feel a bit more energised.

  19. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:44 British Summer Time 19 April

    Middleton c Rew b Ogborne 19 (Hampshire 38-1 v Somerset 184)

First wicket for Somerset and that is a peach from Alfie Ogborne.

Watching that on the replay it did little off the pitch or in the air, but it was simply on the perfect fourth stump line and does Fletcha Middleton for pace.

Late on his defence and playing just inside, the Hampshire opener got a slight nick and James Rew makes no mistake with an easy grab behind.

Ogborne has had a good morning having done well to stick around with Migael Pretorius with the bat and now with a first wicket.

  20. 50 runs

for Essexpublished at 14:42 British Summer Time 19 April

    Essex 179 & 53-0 v Worcestershire 202

Paul Walter has had enough. He's wound up at a few recently but either missed or hit the fielder but here he's got plenty of it.

He's slapped it back through mid-on to the boundary off Ben Allison to bring up the 50 and take the lead to 30.
