  1. Brave 84-4published at 35 balls left

    Need 48 more runs

    Excellent from Scott Currie.

Four runs and the wicket in that set. Great control of his variations to slow Brave's momentum again.

This one looks like it could go down to the wire.

Scott Currie has such a knack of picking up wickets.

Evans had a plan to take the game on but he falls to Currie who is bowling incredibly well. This games keeps twisting and turning.

    Scott Currie does it again.

Brave getting going again? Call for Currie and he delivers.

Whipped leg side by Laurie Evans and well held by Sonny Baker, low down at deep mid wicket.

An entertaining, albeit brief, stay for Evans.

    Target 132

Valuable runs for Brave as new batter Laurie Evans slog-sweeps hard out to deep mid-wicket and despite a great effort form Phil Salt, the ball reaches the boundary.

Brilliant ball next up... but it beats everything and runs away for four byes.

SIX! Massive hit from Laurie Evans, picking the length up early and hammering it over cow corner.

    Momentum back with Southern Brave?

Noor Ahmad has been able to kill everything that Jason Roy managed to inject for Southern Brave.

His googlies are dragging players across the crease.

  6. Brave 65-3published at 45 balls left

    Target 132

    Sensational from Noor Ahmad.

A wicket maiden or just a set of five in which he took a wicket and didn't concede a run if you prefer.

Fantastic from the Afghanistan spinner and no surprise that he is given another five.

Noor Ahmad was bowling at one of the most destructive batters in the world.

An amazing bit of bowling. Coles played the complete wrong line and he didn't have time to react. It spun so nicely away from the right-hander. And who better to have behind the stumps than Jos Buttler.

  8. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 47 balls left

Coles st Buttler b Noor 4 (Brave 65-3)

Too good from Noor Ahmad and quick hands from Jos Buttler.

Third ball in a row that the left-arm wrist-spinner beats James Coles outside edge but this time the batter overbalances.

Dragged forward, done by the turn and Buttler is rapid behind the stumps, whipping off the bails with nothing of Coles behind the line.

Roy ruins Anderson debut with three consecutive boundaries

Jimmy Anderson's figures take a beating as Jason Roy flexes his muscles.

Two short balls from Anderson, the first is pulled away behind square for four and the next is nailed flat - and all the way for six!

Fuller to end the set but too wide and Roy skips down to hit over mid-off for four more.

Anderson is done and finishes with figures of 0-36 from his 20 balls.

  10. Brave 49-2published at 55 balls left

    Target 132

Very good set from Scott Currie.

The big seamer goes for only four runs and takes the all-important wicket to put a bit more pressure on Southern Brave.

Now it's time for Jimmy Anderson to finish his 20-ball quota for the evening.

That was a key time to take a wicket. Leus du Plooy is an important batter to get out. This puts Originals in a really good position now to squeeze through this middle phase.

  12. wicket

    Du Plooy b Currie 25 (Brave 46-2)

Superb slower ball from Scott Currie to break the partnership.

With Leus du Plooy and Jason Roy beginning to build a handy stand, the seamer comes on and strikes second ball.

Du Plooy goes across his stumps and tries to ramp but is deceived by a slower ball that clatters into the pegs.

Leus du Plooy is a brilliant player of spin. He has all the options in his locker. He can reverse, slog sweep, run down the wicket.

He is a nightmare to bowl at, I can confirm.

  14. Brave 45-1published at 60 balls left

    Target 132

    Good comeback from Farhan Ahmed.

Three dot balls to finish his opening set. Southern Brave need 87 from 60 balls to win.

Brave 45-1published at 63 balls left

    Target 132

Farhan Ahmed is on to bowl his off-spin but the 17-year-old sees his second ball middled, high over square leg by Leus du Plooy.

Such a clean strike from the Brave opener.

  16. Brave 36-1published at 65 balls left

    Target 132

First look at spin in the innings as left-arm wrist-spinner Noor Ahmad comes on.

The Afghanistan spinner starts well, again it's just four singles from the set.

Brave are being tidied down for now. The target isn't the biggest but they don't want to fall too far behind the required rate.

  17. Brave 33-1published at 70 balls left

    Target 132

Lewis Gregory gets through a very tidy first five as an Original.

Four from it as he hammers away back of a length. Nothing much for Jason Roy or Leus du Plooy to work with.

Originals still have a lot of work to do. Pace off will be a better option for Anderson and Baker.

  19. Brave 29-1published at 75 balls left

    Target 132

Just two more singles from the last three balls to end the powerplay.

Only one wicket for the Originals but they'll be pleased with this start, they've prevented Brave from getting off to a flyer.

  20. Brave 27-1published at 78 balls left

    Target 132

Jimmy Anderson is back but Jason Roy improves his record at Old Trafford by guiding the ball just wide of short third for four.

Superb shot next ball, whipped wristily over the leg side for four more.
