Huge wicket. Mills loves the big occasion, the big stage. He has a spring in his step.

Since the powerplay, Brave have got a grip of the game and Originals are desperate for some boundaries.

Mills has bowled really well. When he has his tail up, that's a good sign for Southern Brave.

That he's found form and confidence at the start of the tournament is really key.

    Salt c Overton b Mills 60 (Ori 105-4)

It's another wicket for Tymal Mills - the leading wicket taker in the history of this competition.

His third of the match comes with a sharp bouncer to danger man Phil Salt, who attempts a pull and miscues the ball to Craig Overton at short fine leg.

The Originals captain heads to the dug-out - he hasn't been able to push on to a really big score.

  4. Originals 105-3published at 81 balls

    There's a touch of acceleration.

A big edge from Phil Salt off Tymal Mills, it skims the fingertips of diving wicketkeeper Laurie Evans on the way to the ropes, where Reece Topley can't stop the ball going for four.

The outfield looks as though it has slowed down. The ball doesn't look to be travelling as much as it was earlier in the day.

  6. Originals 101-3published at 80 balls

A yorker from Michael Bracewell is given as a wide, bringing up the Originals hundred.

They'll want to accelerate from here - they've only hit one boundary since the 26th ball of the innings.

A really good innings from Phil Salt. It is still in the balance here. I'm not sure who is on top or what a good total is in the game.

  8. Originals 93-3published at 75 balls

One more single for new batter Mark Chapman, hitting his international team-mate down to long-off.

    Bracewell will bowl another five.

  9. 50 runs

50 for Phil Saltpublished at 74 balls

    Originals 92-3

Phil Salt works Michael Bracewell out to mid-wicket - it's just a single as there's some good work from the fielder on the ropes.

    That's his half-century.

What a big wicket. Klaasen didn't quite get going and Cartwright has made up for that dropped catch earlier.

Great from Tymal Mills. 10 balls from him and he has had six dots. You can't go much wrong with that.

  11. wicket

    Klaasen c Evans b Mills 15 (Ori 89-3)

    Caught this time!

Klaasen tries to hit into the leg side but skews a leading edge behind the wicket.

Keeper Laurie Evans runs back and takes the chance, and Klaasen walks off for an uncharacteristic 15 from 16 balls.

The groundsmen won't be too happy about that! Hilton Cartwright kept running into the ball but didn't set himself underneath it.

  13. dropped catch

Klaasen dropped on 13published at 69 balls

    Put down!

Heinrich Klaasen whacks the ball out to mid-wicket where Hilton Cartwright spills a chance.

The South African runs two to move to 15.

That was a much needed boundary for Klaasen. He hit it through the line, it was miles over mid-off.

Some much needed momentum for Originals.

  15. Originals 83-2published at 65 balls

    There's a boundary!

Heinrich Klaasen breaches the ropes for the first time since the 26th ball, striking Chris Jordan's last ball through long-off.

He didn't time it perfectly, seeing the ball land just short of the ropes and then bounce over.

Heinrich Klassen is arguably the best player of spin in world short-form cricket. Since the start of 2023 he averages 46 against spin with a strike rate of 169.

  17. Originals 76-2published at 60 balls

And just four singles from the next five balls.

James Cole has gone for 0-13 from 15 deliveries, while Heinrich Klaasen has a mere six from nine deliveries.

James Coles is getting a bit of grip in that pitch. It is hurrying Klassen a bit, he can't get the elevation he is looking for.

  19. Originals 72-2published at 55 balls

Another tight set from James Coles, just four singles from it.

And he's going to bowl another five...

Overton has bowled well. He holds his line and length very well. But when you are bowling against these world-class batters, it is difficult.
