  1. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 13.1 overs

    Knight lbw b Umm-e-Hani 12 (Eng 70-3)

It looked plumb and it was plumb. The England captain is gone.

Heather Knight didn't really get forward, the ball from Umm-e-Hani snuck past the inside edge and hit her on the back leg.

Ball-tracking shows it was going on to hit middle three-quarters of the way up.

    Basically, that was very out.

If I was Heather Knight, I would be walking off.

  3. Pakistan reviewpublished at 13.1 overs

Heather Knight could be in trouble here.

She's hit on the pad by Umm-e-Hani and, on first view, I thought it was plumb.

Pakistan's players agree and send it upstairs.

  4. Eng 70-2published at 13 overs

Nashra Sandhu is one of those bowlers who adopts the controversial hat-on while bowling approach.

"It just looks so village," says Alex Hartley on TMS.

That's Sciver-Brunt at her best, she just times it so well. It's hard to bowl to when she's playing those shots.

  6. Eng 68-2published at 12.3 overs

The ball after Heather Knight nearly holes out with an ugly shot, Nat Sciver-Brunt goes back and cracks Nashra Sandhu through the leg side for four.

    Super shot.

  7. Eng 63-2published at 12 overs

A boundary for Nat Sciver-Brunt as she goes back to cut and sees the ball comes off the toe-end of the bat, down to deep third for four.

The good news for all involved is that the fielder chases it while bathed in sunshine. That earlier drizzle has now passed.

Nat Sciver- Brunt is the new batter for England.

She'll be faced with spin from the start as Umm-e-Hani comes into the attack for the tourists.

Pakistan celebrate the wicket of Maia BouchierImage source, Getty Images

That was such an easy opportunity for Pakistan. Maia Bouchier was looking to go down but gets cramped for room. Fatima Sana wasn't going to drop that one.

  10. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 11 overs

    Bouchier c Fatima b Baig 34 (Eng 56-2)

Fatima Sana was not going to drop that one.

Maia Bouchier tries to muscle the ball away but gets cramped for room and ends up looping the ball gently to cover.

The end of a promising innings and reward for Diana Baig at the end of her sixth over on the bounce.

  11. Postpublished at 13:46 British Summer Time 29 May

Just one wicket so far today for Pakistan, taken by Fatima Sana.

    Look away now, Tammy Beaumont...

  12. Eng 53-1published at 10 overs

Maia Bouchier ends the powerplay with another boundary to bring up the 50 for England.

It's probably the least attractive of the shots she's played today, a bit of a hack really, but it gets the ball past mid-on and away to the fence.

  13. Eng 49-1published at 9.4 overs

In the air... but out of reach of the mid-off!

Very firmly struck from Maia Bouchier for her fifth boundary of the innings.

Speaking of those three boundaries in an over, here they are!

All from the blade of Maia Bouchier...

  15. Eng 45-1published at 9 overs

    Knight 5, Bouchier 26

Very good comeback over from Diana Baig after being hit for three boundaries in her previous set.

The worst ball of the lot is the one that should have brought a wicket.

That should've been taken, had it been England it would've been taken, she didn't get herself in the best position.

  17. dropped catch

Bouchier dropped on 25published at 8.1 overs

    Eng 45-1

    Big chance for Pakistan!

Maia Bouchier drives Diana Baig, it was there to be hit but it is rather chipped towards cover.

Fatima Sana is there but can't hold on as she reaches out to her left. You'd expect that to be taken.

Solid foundation form England, Maia Bouchier looks in fine form today.

  19. Eng 43-1published at 8 overs

Nearly two in two for Fatima Sana!

It's full again but wide of off, Heather Knight drives and gets a thick inside edge that whistles just past leg stump and down to fine leg for four.

Despite the wicket, it's another decent over for England, runs-wise.

I don't really understand that shot to be honest, they've just started to take off. Ramping a medium paced bowler isn't always the easiest, she's kind of just given that away there.
