    Essex 457-8dec v Durham 333 & 109-7

Doug Bracewell was off the field before lunch for treatment and is having a go at bowling a spell here.

His first ball doesn't look comfortable and is loose, cracked away through the covers by Matt Potts.

15 runs in arrears, but there are storm clouds gathering near Chelmsford.

  2. dropped catch

Hunt escapes on sevenpublished at 14:13 BST 11 September

Sussex 44-1 - target 278 to beat Hants

Close! Sean Hunt drives Keith Barker and the ball flies between first and second slip for four.

    Another tough chance missed.

  3. Postpublished at 14:10 BST 11 September

    Essex 457-8dec v Durham 333 & 105-7

Ben Raine makes room to pull Simon Harmer through mid-wicket for his second four to bring up the Durham 100.

Matt Potts has 3* from nine balls at the other end and the deficit is down to 20.

Will the rain come to Durham's rescue, or can Essex pinch the final three wickets in short order?

  4. Postpublished at 14:08 BST 11 September

Sussex 40-1 - target 278 to beat Hants

Runs for Sean Hunt but there's only one of them in fact as he drives past Ali Orr on the leg side. Over.

He will face Keith Barker next ball.

  5. Postpublished at 8 overs

    Leics 30-1 - target 316

Matt Taylor overpitches following five dot balls and Ian Holland bunts it down the ground for four runs to long-on. He is seven not out.

Matt Quinn's wonderful cameo is ended as Mitch Stanley has him caught behind by Matty Hurst for 42 from 38 balls, featuring nine fours.

Ekansh Singh has gone for a career-best 60 too, caught by Hurst off George Balderson with Ben Compton heading out at No10, but he only faces one ball as Stanley gets Michael Cohen to edge behind to Hurst for his sixth wicket of the innings.

Stanley records figures of 11-180 in the match.

Kent are bowled out for 293 for the second time in the match.

Their lead is 302 with 51 overs for Lancashire to think about having a chase.

  7. dropped catch

Hunt dropped on sixpublished at 14:06 BST 11 September

Sussex 39-1 - target 278 to beat Hants

A couple of runs for Tom Haines off the Keith Barker over.

Kyle Abbott bowls the next over and gets Sean Hunt playing and missing outside his off peg.

Has he nicked it? Yes. But the ball falls just short of Hampshire keeper Ben Brown.

Tough chance but just about a chance.

  8. Day Four begins at Hovepublished at 14:03 BST 11 September

Sussex 37-1 - target 278 to beat Hants

It feels like Day Three really. No play yesterday.

We might not be out here for long given the patchy forecast so how does one pace this innings?

Tom Haines takes guard first and he will face Keith Barker on 13 not out.

Night watcher Sean Hunt is six not out.

  9. Postpublished at 7 overs

    Leics 25-1 - target 316

They are back out in the middle at Grace Road and Ian Holland runs Ajeet Singh Dale's first delivery down to third man for a couple.

A single to backward square ends the over which was interrupted by a shower.

  10. Postpublished at 14:01 BST 11 September

    Warwickshire 41-0 - target 390

This game is ebbing away towards a draw - not helped by the threat of bad weather in the near future, as sunny as it remains now.

What a draw would do is set up a humdinger of a clash back at The Oval next week with Notts the visitors, potentially just a point apart at the top of the table.

Rob Yates has 11* with Alex Davies 29* after 17 overs.

    Josh Tongue blocks Tom Taylor.

Runs! Off drive! Four! Notts have won!

Josh Tongue is a hero with bat and ball!

    14 not out and 7-111!

Notts picks up their fifth win of the season and all eyes will no doubt be on Surrey to see if they can beat Warwickshire.

If they draw, the lead over Notts is down to a single point.

    Notts take 19 points.

Worcestershire bowled heroically this morning and couldn't quite hold on this afternoon.

They take three points and move yet closer to relegation.

    It's a cruel game.

Ollie Robinson steps back to make room for a cut off Simon Harmer but can only edge into the gloves of the lurking Michael Pepper.

    Another avoidable dismissal.

Durham are 28 behind with three wickets remaining.

Matt Potts joins Ben Raine trying to stave off the threat of an innings defeat.

    Essex 457-8dec v Durham 333 & 96-6

Ben Raine steers the first ball from Jamie Porter backward of point and it trickles all the way to the rope before flopping over gently.

Durham need seven more of those for parity.

    Porter has 3-28.

    Clark lbw b Porter 15 - Essex 457-8dec v Durham 333 & 92-6

What a ball from Jamie Porter to pin Graham Clark plumb infront.

Durham are in a lot of trouble, still 32 behind, and need the weather to come to their aid.

Hold on, here comes Raine, sadly it's Ben and not precipitation, however.

  19. wicket

    Carlson c McManus b Harrison 39 (Northants 413-9 dec v Glam 467 & 146-4)

A classic leg-break is Kiran Carlson's undoing, though he isn't convinced he got a touch and stares down the pitch at the umpire for several seconds before walking off.

He put on 99 for the fourth wicket with Colin Ingram, who has now been joined by Chris Cooke. The lead is exactly 200.

  20. Postpublished at 13:50 BST 11 September

Notts 128-7 - target 136 to beat Worcs

Width from Ben Allison. Lyndon James does not play this time.

A straight ball is blocked down the pitch.

He reaches for the fifth ball though, scything it along the ground through cover for one.

Josh Tongue flicks to leg! Four! Eight to win.
