  1. 14 off the overpublished at 42 overs

    Hants 227-3 v Lancs

Georgia Adams heaves Kate Cross over mid-on for four, but you get the feeling Hampshire are holding back on going full tilt until they've seen off the most experienced member of this Red Rose bowling attack.

With that said, Abi Norgrove dispatches Cross for successive fours to take Hampshire's tally to 14 from the over. Cross has one more to bowl.

Is this the start of a Hampshire charge?

  2. Postpublished at 41 overs

    Hants 213-3 v Lancs

Hannah Jones finishes off her allocation with 1-50, giving up just four singles from the last of her 10 overs.

Nine to go in this Hampshire innings - is 300 still within reach for them?

  3. 'Cross rhythmical in her bowling action'published at 13:00 BST 21 September

    Hants 209-3 v Lancs

    Rita Green
    BBC Radio Solent commentator

Kate Cross is really trying to get it to swing, she'll get anything out of this pretty old ball really.

I just really like watching her bowl, she's so rhythmical in her action.

  4. Postpublished at 40 overs

    Hants 209-3 v Lancs

Kate Cross has been pretty consistent today and she comes back on to tie Georgia Adams down with four consecutive dot balls.

Adams eventually gets off strike by scrambling a single and Abi Norgrove rescues the over for Hampshire with a beautifully struck cover drive that rolls for four.

  5. 'Nicely batted by Adams'published at 12:56 BST 21 September

    Hants 204-3 v Lancs

    Scott Read
    BBC Radio Lancashire commentator

Nicely batted by Georgia Adams, she'll want to kick on though having seen Maia Bouchier get to 50.

Adams has got a great chance though to try and bat through the bulk of these final 10 overs or so.

Hannah Jones pitches short and Georgia Adams takes full advantage, pulling it to the boundary.

A single two balls later propels the Hampshire captain to her half-century from 78 balls - the fourth time she's been beyond 50 in this season's tournament.

  7. Postpublished at 38 overs

    Hants 198-3 v Lancs

Apart from a leg-side wide to begin the over, Lancashire will be pleased with those six - well, seven - deliveries from Grace Potts.

Four runs from the over, the bowling side will take that at this stage of the innings.

  8. Postpublished at 37 overs

    Hants 194-3 v Lancs

Abi Norgrove is off the mark with a single from her first ball, but that wicket has slowed the Hampshire momentum for now.

They've got 13 overs left but, if Georgia Adams stays in, then around 300 certainly isn't out of the question.

  9. 'What a catch from Lister'published at 12:47 BST 21 September

    Hampshire 193-3 v Lancashire

    Rita Green
    BBC Radio Solent commentator

What a catch from Ailsa Lister to get rid of Freya Kemp.

For a moment the whole fielding side were wondering how on earth was that catch taken. Lister has taken that catch on her bootlaces.

It needed something special to get rid of Freya.

    Kemp c Lister b Jones 41 (Hampshire 193-3 v Lancashire)

    There's that wicket Lancashire needed...

Freya Kemp drives Hannah Jones outside off stump and the ball flies to cover, where Ailsa Lister dives forward to snap up the catch.

Abi Norgrove strides out to join Georgia Adams in the middle.

  11. Postpublished at 36 overs

    Hants 192-2 v Lancs

Lancashire could really do with breaking this partnership as, with only two wickets down, Hampshire will have full licence to hit top gear in the final 10 overs or so.

They might have had a wicket with a bit of luck just now, as Freya Kemp steers Grace Potts aerially towards the point fielder - but out of reach and the ball rolls across the rope.

  12. Postpublished at 35 overs

    Hants 185-2 v Lancs

Left-arm spinner Hannah Jones is back on as Lancashire continue to rotate their bowling options.

Jones was on the expensive side in her first spell, but this latest over goes for just three singles.

  13. '300 would be hard to beat'published at 12:38 BST 21 September

    Hants 182-2 v Lancs

    Rita Green
    BBC Radio Solent commentator

From a Hampshire perspective 300 from here would be a good total to get.

Lancashire will back themselves, it's a decent wicket, but 300 would be hard to beat.

  14. Postpublished at 34 overs

    Hants 182-2 v Lancs

Grace Potts grabbed the opening wicket in her first spell and Lancashire will be hoping the seamer can do something similar this time.

Potts overpitches, though, and Freya Kemp hammers her to the extra cover boundary, then smashes a shorter ball through the leg side for four more.

The Hampshire left-hander is starting to accelerate now after a quiet start and she's almost caught up Adams, with 35 at a run-a-ball.

  15. 'A well balanced game'published at 12:35 BST 21 September

    Hants 171-2 v Lancs

    Amelia Clark
    BBC Radio Solent commentator

It's a well balanced game, I think both sides will be quite happy with the position at the moment.

Darcey Carter got away with a full toss in her previous over - but the spinner is punished for two more this time.

Freya Kemp and Georgia Adams both help themselves to boundaries - and there's another long hop that Adams can only steer straight along the ground to a fielder.

Hampshire take 13 from the over and Kemp and Adams have now added 53 since the fall of Maia Bouchier.

  17. Postpublished at 32 overs

    Hants 158-2 v Lancs

More of the same from the next Kate Cross over, which is a tidy one and costs her four singles.

Georgia Adams has 33, with Freya Kemp on 19.

  18. Postpublished at 31 overs

    Hants 154-2 v Lancs

Hampshire continue to accumulate singles and, with eight wickets still in hand, they'll feel well placed to start throwing the bat a bit later.

Four from that Darcey Carter over.

  19. 150 runs

150 up for Hampshirepublished at 30 overs

    Hants 150-2 v Lancs

Kate Cross returns for her second spell and Freya Kemp flicks the seamer over midwicket for a boundary as her innings begins to gather momentum.

Kemp is 15 not out, with Georgia Adams on 29.

  20. Postpublished at 29 overs

    Hants 145-2 v Lancs

Uncompromising from Georgia Adams, who dispatches Darcey Carter down the ground for four and is then denied another by an excellent Kate Cross diving stop on the long-off boundary.

Eight runs from the over as Adams and Freya Kemp continue building the Hampshire platform for a late charge.
