From a Hampshire point of view I think there was a concern in the semi-final when she went for two, she was dropped and then out and it's good to see that she's seemingly firing on all cylinders today.

And it's a double bowling change, with the medium pace of Grace Potts introduced as Kate Cross takes a breather.

Her first ball is wide outside off stump, almost begging to be slammed to the boundary and Maia Bouchier obliges, bringing up the 50 partnership with Rhianna Southby.

Ellie Threlkeld shuffles her bowling pack immediately after the powerplay as left-arm spinner Hannah Jones comes on to replace Mahika Gaur.

Jones looks a little rusty at first and sends down an early full toss, but it costs her only a single.

She's flayed to the boundary later in the over, though, as Rhianna Southby lifts one over the top.

Powerplay done and Hampshire won't be too unhappy with their situation after being stuck in here. The key is that they have all their wickets intact.

For Lancashire this is their second chance of silverware this season having already won the County Cup, that was a really good effort when they won that.

Maia Bouchier goes over the inner ring of fielders, although the ball is lacking the legs to reach the rope and she settles for two runs.

No such problem late in the over as the Hampshire opener latches onto Mahika Gaur's half-volley and smacks it back past the bowler for four.

An optimistic lbw shout from Mahika Gaur as she strikes Rhianna Southby on the pads, but it always looked to be drifting down leg side.

Unfortunately for Gaur, so is her next delivery and this time Southby clips it to the boundary rope to advance to 14. Maia Bouchier has all of Hampshire's other 17 runs to her name.

I left Manchester yesterday and the weather was horrific, it was filthy.

I got on the train and I texted one of the Lancashire squad, because I knew they came down yesterday, to say 'Please tell me the conditions are OK, please tell me we're going to get a game in'.

It was raining at the time for them, but they said it was all good for today.

And it's certainly a lot better than the conditions I left in. Oh my word, that was horrible!

It's been a good start from both sides.

The bowling from Lancashire has been brilliant, it's been pinpoint perfect almost. They've been putting a bit of pressure on the Hampshire opening batters which I think is what they need.

I think these two work best under a bit of pressure, I think it sharpens them a little bit.

It doesn't feel like the Hampshire batters are quite settled in yet, it feels like the bowlers are really making them play.

Rhianna Southby is struggling for timing at the moment - she picks a slower ball from Mahika Gaur but fails to direct it beyond the fielder at mid-on.

Just a single from the over and Lancashire will be fairly happy with this start by their bowlers. Though they'd love to add an early wicket or two...

Kate Cross is right on the money at the start of this Hampshire innings.

Maia Bouchier just can't get the Red Rose seamer away - until the final ball of the over, which is on leg stump and clipped to the boundary by the grateful batter.

Mahika Gaur strays outside off stump, but Rhianna Southby doesn't take full advantage, smearing into the covers and can only pick up a single.

Southby's stroke later in the over is a fair bit cleaner as she pings Gaur firmly to the cover fence for her first boundary.

Kate Cross shares new-ball duties with Mahika Gaur and sends down a beauty that has Maia Bouchier fishing vaguely outside off stump.

No edge through to Ellie Threlkeld, but Lancashire will be quite happy with a maiden from Cross.
