  1. wicket

    Miller b Stoinis 28 (Superchargers 110-5)

A big moment. It's in the slot from Marnus Stoinis but David Miller, trying to clear the leg-side boundary again, misses and his middle stump is knocked back flat onto the turf.

Miller was looking dangerous. Stoinis beats his chest in celebration.

  2. 6 runs

    Superchargers 109-4published at 67 balls

And there's another six from David Miller! A flick of the wrist and the ball sails through the night's sky.

That was the eighth instance of a batter hitting three or more sixes off a bowler in a set in this year's men's Hundred - David Miller has now done it twice, as has Liam Livingstone and Jordan Cox.

  4. Superchargers 102-4published at 65 balls

    Lawrence 40, Miller 22

I know everyone wants to see a game of cricket today but I'm not sure about this.

Sam Cook went sliding like a teenager on a first date at an ice rink in that previous set. He held his arms wide afterwards and now Sam Hain is tentative as he chases down the ball at mid-wicket.

The latest news is that we haven't lost any deliveries from the rain delay and this will still be a 100-ball match. The playing time is being extended, talk about flexibility!

They are clearly trying to get the full match in. It's going to be a late finish, let's hope it's a good one if the crowd are still here.

Rehan Ahmed, who is bowling to left-handed David Miller, doesn't bowl the googlies. His balls are going straight into Miller's slot and he's played three sixes off this set. The danger of bowling 10 in a row is the batter does get lined up.

It's worth keeping an eye on Miller because he went off in the last match with a bit of a leg injury, but he's back out there playing well at the minute.

  7. 6 runs

    Superchargers 98-4published at 60 balls

    Lawrence 38, Miller 20

A third six in the set! It must be tough for Rehan Ahmed to grip this wet ball and the South African left-hander knows it.

He goes long over long-on and has 20 from just six balls.

  8. 6 runs

    Superchargers 92-4published at 59 balls

    Even bigger from David Miller!

  9. 6 runs

    Superchargers 84-4published at 56 balls

Rehan Ahmed continues for a second set of five and is pumped for six by David Miller.

  10. Superchargers 78-4published at 55 balls

That wicket brings out David Miller. He has played a few decent innings in this tournament and his side require another here.

Rehan Ahmed now has 11 wickets in the tournament.

A great start for Trent Rocket after the rain delay. It couldn't really be better could it?

Some balls must have been lost due to the rain delay, but we haven't heard anything on it just yet.

  12. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 51 balls

    Clark c Willey b Ahmed 1 (Superchargers 76-4)

First ball after the restart! Graham Clark has slapped a Rehan Ahmed full toss straight to mid-wicket.

  13. Superchargers 76-3published at 50 balls

It looks like Rehan Ahmed is going to start after the break. It is raining.

The Trent Rockets players are in a huddle just inside the boundary. Dan Lawrence seems to have lost his gloves.

The clouds are dark and menacing but the covers are nowhere to be seen. Who has this long break favoured? The bowling side, I guess.

  16. Restart at 20:00 BSTpublished at 19:50 BST 30 August

Play will restart in 10 minutes' time with the big IF there is no more rain.

Play can go on until 22:15 BST, by the way. It will be Matthew Henry to take you through the foreseeable.

A reminder that if this game is abandoned, it will be Trent Rockets who advance to tomorrow's final because they finished second in the table.

They will face Oval Invincibles at Lord's and thankfully, the weather is looking much better.

  19. Postpublished at 19:37 BST 30 August

The bowlers' run ups have now been fully covered up, as long as the full square.

We're in for the long haul here.

Treat yourselves to the best of Davina Perrin's innings while we wait, which was absolutely sensational.
