  1. dropped catch

Malan dropped on 19published at 29 balls

    Six and dropped - again!

Dawid Malan launches Marcus Stoinis into the stands before chipping the next ball back at him, but Stoinis can't hold on in his follow-through.

It was an easier chance than Sam Cook's off Lawrence earlier, and it doesn't look good for Malan as he pulls up with an injury after scampering the single.

  2. Superchargers 35-1published at 25 balls

Superchargers have recovered pretty well from the early loss of Zak Crawley, but this is looking like a good toss for the Rockets to have won.

Northern Superchargers are well accustomed to quick scoring conditions - the scoring rate of 1.58 runs per ball at Headingley is the second highest in the men's Hundred this year behind The Oval (1.65 rpb).

Trent Rockets by contrast have by far the slowest scoring home venue this season, at just 1.19 runs per ball.

  4. Not outpublished at 20 balls

    Missing leg stump.

    As you were.

    Finished with a wicket?

Ferguson thinks he's got Dan Lawrence pinned in front.

  6. Superchargers 29-1published at 24 balls

Welcome, Lockie Ferguson. His first ball is slashed for four by Dan Lawrence, and is followed by two wides, but he responds well with a fierce yorker which Lawrence is just about able to dig out.

The last set of five that Sam Cook bowled at The Oval, he got carted all around the ground. How much will that be in the back of his mind here? How much will he want to put his wrongs right tonight?

Dan Lawrence with a lovely pick up there from a full ball. He confidently put that one into the stands.

  8. dropped catch

Lawrence dropped on 14published at 15 balls

    Superchargers 20-1

    Six and dropped!

The previous ball is launched over cover for six in some style from Dan Lawrence but Sam Cook puts the next one down. It's a tough chance, hit back firmly in his follow-through.

  9. 6 runs

    Superchargers 13-1published at 11 balls

    Hello!

Dan Lawrence with a bit of flair, whipping Sam Cook's first ball over fine leg.

  10. Superchargers 7-1published at 10 balls

    Shot!

A much-needed boundary for the Superchargers as Dawid Malan pulls for four, the only loose delivery on offer from David Willey and he's put it away nicely.

Zak Crawley has scored so many runs for Northern Superchargers in this tournament. It felt like he was due a failure because he had been so consistent. David Willey just angled the ball across him again for such a Test match wicket.

It was well caught by Joe Root - Willey was so pumped with that one.

  12. Superchargers 1-1published at 5 balls

Unsurprisingly, David Willey is going to bowl 10 in a row here.

This is only the third time Zak Crawley has been dismissed inside the powerplay in this season's competition, Northern Superchargers went on to lose the match in both previous instances.

But he doesn't last very long!

Brilliant start from the Rockets skipper and it's a very on-brand Zak Crawley dismissal. Outside off stump, nicked to slip.

Dan Lawrence, with wicketkeeping duties to fulfil later, is in early.

Covers off, and the players have moved quickly.

Zak Crawley is ready to face David Willey. It still looks very gloomy but let's give it a go...

Northern Superchargers have got this. Even with the change of Dan Lawrence keeping wicket, they have a strong batting line-up and this is a good surface.

I thought they would be the team to beat in the build-up to this match, so I'm going to retain that thought as we approach the start of play.

Yes, you read that right - Dan Lawrence is keeping!

The teams are being announced at The Oval but cries of "Roooootttt!" turn to boos as the covers are brought back on.

The rain seems a little heavier this time. But it's been stop-start for the last little while so we'll see, fingers crossed it passes quickly.

    OK, bad news again.

    The covers are back on.
