Bournemouth are winless in their last eight league games against Brentford (D2 L6) since a 1-0 home win in the Championship in August 2014.
Brentford are unbeaten in all five of their Premier League games against Bournemouth (W3 D2), both their most games without ever losing and Bournemouth’s most games without ever winning against an opponent in the competition.
Bournemouth have lost their last two Premier League home games – only twice have they lost three in a row in the top-flight, doing so in April 2016 and December 2019.
Brentford have won each of their last four Premier League away games, as many as they had in their previous 27 (D4 L19). The Bees last won five consecutive away league games between October and December 2010 in League One.
After an 11-game unbeaten run in the Premier League between November and January (W7 D4), Bournemouth have now lost three of their last five (W1 D1). Indeed, since the start of February only the current bottom three sides (Southampton, Ipswich, Leicester) have earned fewer points than the Cherries (4).
Bournemouth have scored more goals in second half stoppage time than any other side in the Premier League this season (8), while only Aston Villa (7) have conceded more than Brentford (6).
Only Cole Palmer (35) has had more shots following a ball carry in the Premier League this season than Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo (32).
Justin Kluivert leads the way among all Bournemouth players for both goals (12) and assists (6) in the Premier League this season. No Bournemouth player has ever topped both charts for the club across a full top-flight campaign.
Yoane Wissa is just two goal involvements away from becoming the second Brentford player (after Bryan Mbeumo) to be involved in 50 Premier League goals (39 goals, 9 assists). Wissa has had a hand in four goals in his last two appearances against Bournemouth in the competition (3 goals, 1 assist).
Only Mohamed Salah (17) has provided more assists in the Premier League this season than Mikkel Damsgaard (10), with his 10 also the most by any Brentford player in a single campaign.
