Wolves have conceded from 15.3% of their shots faced in the Premier League this season, the highest share in the division.

However, Southampton have the lowest shot conversion rate of any side this term (7.7%).

Southampton boss Ivan Juric: "Like I always say, they [Southampton supporters] are the best fans in the world. They are incredible. They are the best part of the club because they are always there supporting us, even in Liverpool before and after the game. For me, they are really special.

"They [Wolves] have a lot of good players who play at a high level. They have done well these past couple of months, and I know that it will be tough because they are good in attack, fast in defence and technical in the middle. We are preparing well and we want a good game.

"There are six points between Wolves, Ipswich and Leicester so they're not still safe. And I think they will be a little bit more unsafe after this match."

Southampton still need to win one of their final 10 games - or at least draw three - to avoid being the worst Premier League team ever statistically.

Derby County's record low of 11 points in 2007-08 has felt like it was never going to broken - but Southampton have only picked up nine from 28 games.

Southampton have lost each of their past eight home games in the Premier League by an aggregate score of 29-5.

In English top-flight history, only three sides have ever lost nine or more in a row at home within a single season: Birmingham in 1985-86 (10), Wolves in 2011-12 (nine) and Watford in 2021-22 (11).

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola says he has "raised the bar" in the Premier League after criticism from ex-England boss Fabio Capello.

The pair have not been on good terms since Capello managed Guardiola at Roma in 2002.

Recently Capello said Guardiola was "way too arrogant and presumptuous" because he wanted to prove City were winning matches through his tactics.

"I listen to everything that people say about me, so be careful," he said.

"It's not the first time Mr Fabio Capello has said that. I'm not good enough to ruin Italian football. A big hug to Fabio. A big hug.

"I don't want to pretend to be, and naming again one of the big managers, one of the exceptional managers in Fabio Capello, and look arrogant, but we helped raise the bar in the Premier League.

"Teams had to go to the markets and that helps people. People want to do good, people are well organised, have good structures, good decisions, good players everywhere.

"I've been here when I went to Bournemouth in the beginning, and now it's different. And when I went in the beginning in Brighton, and now it's different. And when I went in Fulham in the beginning, and now it's different.

"I'm an old guy, I'm the oldest manager here, nine years. So I know the evolution of the Premier League has been massive."

Piers, Ipswich: Re: James McFadden 14.20 Comparing Ipswich with Luton just doesn't hold water. Town have great owners, still investing in the infrastructure and with further plans for the future. With regards to the players, we'll lose Delap, and Phillips will go back after a largely uninspiring loan, but I can't see much else happening. The big question is McKenna... I think he'll go, but have faith in the same people that appointed him finding a suitable replacement.

But, they look like they don't believe that's going to happen at the moment and the teams they're up against know they'll get an opportunity down the other end.

It is quite incredible to think Brighton's response to that 7-0 hiding at Nottingham Forest last month has been to go on a run of six successive wins in all competitions.

If they make it seven today, it would represent their longest winning sequence since they won eight on the trot in their 2010-11 League One promotion-winning campaign when they were still playing at the Withdean Stadium.

Brighton have come a long way since those days.

It seems like all of it is broken down at Man City, it's not just down to one player. Although we know the influence Rodri's had and he's missing.

The speed's gone, that change of pace they used to have is gone. Is Kevin de Bruyne having as much of an influence when he's playing? No, but he doesn't have the runners. They're not free-flowing, they're not at their best.

They've lost that fear factor from teams they play against.

It's tough, maybe it's time for a rebuild but Man City, although they've played top players, they've never gone out and signed the best player in the world and put them in the team and said 'let's build the team around this player'.

This season has gone wrong for them and this summer they'll bring in players to develop in the way Guardiola wants them to play.

After Brighton lost 7-0 to Nottingham Forest, Fabian Hurzeler said he picked a formation that was too attacking. He created something which just did not work in the moment.

There are not seven goals between those teams and sometimes you get freak results. Hurzeler knew it was not a game to overreact to, but to learn lessons from. The lesson to learn was not in terms of mentality but in terms of setup.

Since then, he has set his team up in a way that compliments each individual player more and compliments the style he wants them to play, which is defensively solid with a significant threat in attack and to be truly balanced.

Some of the goals and individual moments they have had in their impressive run since have been great, but the key is square pegs in square holes and finding the right combinations.

The sign of a good football club is how they react when adverse things start to happen. The key was their reaction after the 7-0 loss and they showed great determination to get the first win and then the second and so on.

Then, before you know it, there is the belief they will win every single game. When they step out onto the field they know they are set up correctly, the manager knows and trusts his players to do the job required.

Now they fear nobody because they have the belief they can win against anyone, which is priceless in football. That means they can go toe-to-toe with any style and most players are playing really well.

Belief can get you going a yard quicker, jumping a few centimetres higher and get you striking that ball a little more often towards goal.

That belief exists now in the players, the fans, and the manager on the sideline.

Brighton are on the longest current winning run in the Premier League - four games.

Their record in the top flight is five wins in a row from April to May 1981.

Manchester City have never lost a home league match against Brighton (W12 D2), winning the past 10 in a row.

It is the most they have faced an opponent at home without defeat in their league history (14).

I don't think they're the worst bottom three ever.

This Southampton side have had some really poor games, been dominated and have lost heart in games. But, as far as this Ipswich side is concerned, they're giving teams really tough rides.

Leicester to some extent are somewhat easier. Ipswich are the tougher game out of the three but they deserve to be where they are.

Ipswich have come up, they've acquitted themselves well, they've done well in games, they've looked like a good side and they're a tough team to play against.

You'd worry because you've been on such an unbelievable ride to go from League One into the Premier League, then you look at the comparisons to Luton and think that is a worry.

When relegation happens it can be so tough because you've got a team that's had so many plaudits this season and competed very well.

Players all of a sudden feel like they belong at that level and then it's difficult to go down and be the team everybody wants to beat.

That is a big adjustment when you go down.

Elliot Anderson "wouldn't have believed" Nottingham Forest would be third in the table with 10 games to go, with a chance to be playing Champions League football next season.

"Everyone is enjoying the moment and we have a right good group, who are all pushing in the same direction, which is the key to our success," the midfielder - who has contributed five assists and a goal in 27 Premier League appearances - told BBC Sport.

"We as players all see the talk that we won't keep it up but ultimately it goes back to the fundamentals and what we have built it on, which is the basics. If we just focus on each game, and do what we set out to do, we'll be OK."

When asked about achieving a Champions League spot, the summer signing from Newcastle said: "It would be incredible, not just for the club but for the city, where it could help in all sorts of ways.

"I think it would be a huge historic moment for the club and for the players who have been working hard all season to pull it off.

"It will be an amazing season but first we have to win on Saturday to try and do it".

Ipswich goalkeeper Alex Palmer has praised the "close bond and relationship" between the team as it proving to be a big positive in their fight to stay in the Premier League.

Despite only signing from West Bromwich Albion in the January transfer window, Palmer has already seen the impact of having a squad that has progressed through the ranks together during the tough times.

"It has been a bit of a whirlwind," said Palmer. "Knowing a few of the lads has helped me to settle in a little bit quicker and so has just being thrown in. Everyone is then able to see what you are about. It's all well and good doing that in training, but getting stuck into games helps.

"I've really enjoyed the day-to-day training environment and camaraderie. You can see why they have been so successful in the past few years.

"It's hugely important to have that and keeping the players who have had that success has been pivotal. There is a close bond and relationship, so that helps when it is tough on the pitch.

"It helps to have that friendship and bond when we've got to roll up our sleeves and dig in together. I think you can see that we are not rolling over lightly.

"But the Premier League is ruthless. Hopefully we can be on the right side of a result this weekend."
