    Liverpool 2-0 Atletico Madrid

Diego Simeone is approaching his 14th anniversary in charge of Atletico Madrid, a huge achievement in this day and age.

But could this be the beginning of the end for the former Argentina midfielder, who has spent big this summer but has experienced an indifferent start to the season?

    PSG 1-0 Atalanta

We all know what Atalanta are capable of but they can barely get out of their own half at the moment.

PSG are really stepping on the gas and showing why they're European champions.

Clever free-kick routine from Bayern as Joshua Kimmich slightly touches the ball so Michael Olise can run with it but then it's wasted as he overhits a cross.

Goals in the first 10 mins instead of the last. Refreshing change.

I was interested to see if Chelsea had some sort of inferiority complex coming here with the young players. But no. They completely believe in themselves and the team as a group.

    Liverpool 2-0 Atletico Madrid

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Anfield

Liverpool have been leaving it until the final stages to win games this season. They might just have this one wrapped up inside six minutes.

Andrew Robertson's first was liberally sprinkled with good fortune but Mohamed Salah's second was a typical, a quick exchange with Ryan Gravenberch in the penalty area and a smooth finish past Jan Oblak.

It might be job done already.

  15. Maresca rolls out big game playbook?published at 20:10 BST 17 September

    Bayern Munich 0-0 Chelsea

    Nizaar Kinsella
    BBC Sport Chelsea reporter

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca rolls out similar tactics to the one that helped them stun Paris St-Germain in a 3-0 win at the Club World Cup final.

It already appears to be working Chelsea get the first two chances down the right where a returning Cole Palmer has moved to the right wing, with overlapping full-back Malo Gusto behind him.

Pedro Neto and Enzo Fernandez have both had chances to open the scoring as they fill the left wing and no 10 positions behind striker Joao Pedro.

This appears to be Maresca's big game playbook.

    PSG 1-0 Atalanta

Atalanta are in a world of trouble right now as Marco Carnesecchi pulls off a great save to keep them at 1-0 down.

PSG slice through them again and the ball is squared to Bradley Barcola but his finish is brilliantly saved.

    Ally McCoist

This is magnificent. It's all about the weight of the return pass to him and the use of Salah's body.

Look at his body strength, he puts himself in between two defenders and once he gets in that position, you know he's finishing.

    Great goal.
