"He [Son Heung-min] is ready and available. They all are ready to start. It was important tonight and he feels like he is getting back to some rhythm.

"I thought up until they scored the boys worked hard, they were really disciplined and organised. We didn't really let them create too many openings. We had our moments as well going forward but once they scored we lost a little bit of belief.

"A lot of those guys haven't played a lot and we looked like we were fatiguing and then the game just got away from us."

No doubt Chelsea will have been delighted to see United's star man Bruno Fernandes substituted in the 80th minute.

It's a first sign that manager Ruben Amorim has half an eye on the Europa League final.

Noni Madueke's low cross is booted into touch by Harry Maguire, who had a header saved by Robert Sanchez before all the subs. Wasn't a strong header so barely counts as a save really.

Bruno Fernandes has created 89 chances this season, more than any other player in the Premier League.

Jadon Sancho, on loan at Chelsea from United, is ineligible today but is watching on in a blue coat.

All six of Marc Cucurella's goals in the Premier League have come at home, including five for Chelsea.

So as things stand Chelsea are fourth, Villa are fifth, Manchester City are sixth.

But City have a game in hand, so it would be out of Villa's hands again.
