    MASSIVE goal for Chelsea.

A nice little spin from James before the cross. Excellent header from the floppy-haired Spaniard.

Einstein may well have been talking about Angeball when he said doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results is the definition of insanity. Ange has to go before the final to give us any chance of silverware this season.

It feels like all the constant fouls, offsides and minor injury stoppages are playing more into Man United's hands.

It is frustrating the Chelsea supporters that there is no flow and that is has generally been a poor game for a Friday night out.

They have finally found their voice around the 65th minute mark and are trying to force a desperately needed winner.

This just goes to highlight how poor European teams outside the Champions League are to have Spurs and Utd contesting the final.

    FT: Aston Villa 2-0 Tottenham

    Aston Villa

Aston Villa boss Unai Emery, speaking to Sky Sports: "Good evening. Very happy. We won and we are on a run but still have work to do. We have to ready and be consistent. We finished the season here with our supporters and our enegery and our wishes to be in Europe. We still have chances to play in the Champions League.

"They [Spurs] competed well and did a fantastic job. We were consistent, demanding and when we scored the first goal, they gave up. Good luck to them in the final.

"We needed to manage the 90 minutes and we worked it fantastic. We are being demanding in this moment. We can get Champions League, fantastic.

"We are wishing to continue in the season we are doing. We are now in a good moment. We try to play well and in our best moment. Some players are enjoying it now.

"We are going to continue in our plan. We will work tomorrow and have Sunday and Monday off."

Frankly that was a Spurs team playing not to get injured. Quite rightly. We've already been shown of half our midfield. If this game has been played on Sunday - what team would Ange have put out? I think the under 13s already have a game!
