Ben Sheaf with a great effort towards goal.

After Hull made a reasonably bright start, it's been all Coventry City since then.

    Bristol City 0-0 QPR

After Anis Mehmeti struck the post inside the first few minutes, Bristol City - for all their possession - haven't really created much in the way of scoring opportunities.

Mehmeti has set up one for Yu Hirakawa, though - a delightful floated ball in behind Harrison Ashby and the winger stole in to meet it, but couldn't keep his header down.

QPR yet to register anything resembling a shot at goal, but they'll be happy the scoresheet remains blank given how this first half has gone.

  3. CLOSE!published at 13:08 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2024

    Coventry 0-0 Hull City

Coventry win a free-kick on the right and the delivery is brilliant from Victor Torp.

It comes to Ben Sheaf at the back post who heads towards goal but it's tipped over by Ivor Pandor.

    Jon Newsome
Former Leeds defender on BBC Radio Leeds

We keep pushing and pressing and the momentum is with us but the final ball is just lacking the quality.

Up until then the passing is right but it's like when we get into the final third we get a little bit panicky and jumpy.

    Coventry 0-0 Hull

    Peter Swan
Former Hull City player on BBC Radio Humberside

I don't think Hull have strung four or five passes together yet.

We need someone who can hold the ball up.

  6. YELLOW CARDpublished at 13:03 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2024

    Preston 1-0 Leeds

Preston's Ben Whiteman is the first player in the book for a cynical foul on Brenden Aaronson.

Leeds fans don't feel like the referee has given them all that much so far so that's greeted by the customary ironic cheers.

  7. YELLOW CARDpublished at 13:03 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2024

    Coventry 0-0 Hull City

Hull City goalkeeper Ivor Pandur takes a little longer than he should over a dead ball situation and not for the first time this afternoon.

Into the book he goes for time-wasting.

  8. Postpublished at 13:00 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2024

    Preston 1-0 Leeds

Brenden Aaronson gets in for Leeds after some neat passing but the USA international slashes his effort high into the Leeds fans behind the goal.

    Good chance gone.

  9. CLOSE!published at 13:00 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2024

    Coventry 0-0 Hull City

Another good opening for Coventry. They work it well and Jack Rudoni crosses in towards Ephron Mason-Clark.

He spins and fires into the side-netting from inside the box. Some fans think it's in...

The Sky Blues have had 62% possession and 10 shots so far but just the two on target. Hull are still yet to register an effort.

  10. YELLOW CARDpublished at 12:59 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2024

    Bristol City 0-0 QPR

Referee Lewis Smith reaches for his top pocket for the first time this afternoon and produces a yellow card, which he shows to Bristol City captain Jason Knight.

Knight pulled back Paul Smyth, who was embarking on a rare QPR counter-attack and earns a free-kick on the halfway line. Unfortunately for Rangers, Steve Cook lofts it long - too long - and it drifts out of play.

    Preston 1-0 Leeds

    Jon Newsome
Former Leeds defender on BBC Radio Leeds

    Right, let's see our reaction.

We've been here before so let's see if we can do something about it.

It's a really bad goal to concede. It went through the goalkeeper and creeps in the bottom corner. It's one he won't want to see again.

A magnificent counter-attack is crowned by a Preston goal!

What an engine Brad Potts has got on him!

    Coventry 0-0 Hull City

Safe to say Hull are under the cosh at the moment... They get a bit of respite as they win a free-kick on the edge of their own area and Ivor Pandur has gone down to receive some treatment.

Frank Lampard will be hoping his side can make the most of being on top here...

The home side hit the front!

Preston break up a Leeds attack 20 yards from their own goal and set off straight down the other end.

Milutin Osmajic is fed down their right and he slides a good low cross to Brad Potts, nominally the right back, to finish with his left eight yards out.

Leeds goalkeeper Illan Meslier gets a big hand on it but can only shovel it into the inside of the net.

  15. Postpublished at 12:52 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2024

    Bristol City 0-0 QPR

Bristol City continue to knock on the door, but Rangers are refusing to let them in.

All the possession has been with the home side but they haven't managed to convert that into clear scoring chances.

Max Bird had a punt from the edge of the box just now, but didn't get enough power behind the shot to trouble Paul Nardi.

Hull have got to find a way of getting out. This is just messy at the moment.

Jack Rudoni runs with the ball for CoventryImage source, PA Media

Blimey, another couple of chances for Coventry who are turning the screw now!

It's floated to the back stick towards Tatsuhiro Sakamoto but Jack Rudoni swoops in and takes it off his head with an effort of his own and it goes wide.

Moments later, Rudoni fires straight at Ivor Pandur from the edge of the box.

    Preston 0-0 Leeds

    Preston fashion a decent opening.

They work the ball wide to Robbie Brady down their left and the experienced Republic of Ireland international stands up a really inviting cross to the back stick for Liam Lindsay but, under pressure, the defender can only head wide.

  19. CLOSE!published at 12:49 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2024

    Coventry 0-0 Hull City

Coventry are racking up some shots now... The tricky Tatsuhiro Sakamoto cuts inside and fires a left-footed effort into the side-netting.

A seventh attempt of the game already for the hosts. Hull are yet to have an effort at the other end.

  20. CLOSE!published at 12:48 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2024

    Coventry 0-0 Hull City

The best chance of the game so far falls to Norman Bassette for Coventry.

Ephron Mason-Clark whips in a lovely ball from the left and Bassette meets it with his head inside the six-yard box but it flies over the bar.

It came at pace and the forward couldn't quite get the angle to trouble the keeper but that was a good move by the Sky Blues.
