Adam Kitchiner: Should be a double red for Kudus. 6 game ban.

Mike Trego: Professional athletes should be able to control themselves. Kudus lashed out twice and deserved two red cards for what he has just done. He has let his team down.

Well done VAR, got to the right decision. Crazy from Kudus. This game was already lost, now he’s made the next 3 tougher for his team.

Mohammed Kudus has received his first red card in the Premier League (41st appearance).

He is the sixth different West Ham player to both score and get sent off in the same Premier League game after Nayef Aguerd, Mark Noble (twice), Carlton Cole (also twice), Frederic Piquionne and Bobby Zamora.

Give West Ham some credit, they are still trying to play a bit. Jarrod Bowen sends in a cross but it goes over everyone in the middle.

Genuinely makes me laugh when fans of other clubs criticise West Ham fans for wanting Moyes out. A fan of any team wants to progress, Moyes did some great things but he couldn’t take us any further and the football was dreadful. Not the best start for Lopetegui admittedly, but you have to take the risk sometimes. I’m hopeful he’ll come good in time.

Yeah, Richarlison ran into the fray and as Kudus and Van de Ven squared up was knocked by the back of West Ham man's head and went down.

Kudus deserved to be sent off but Richarlison running into the fray and then collapsing holding his face is embarrassing.

The ref had his back turned. did not see event fully. Monitor is correct decision.

It's a loss of head from Mohammed Kudus. It's a shame as he's been West Ham's best player.

West Ham's day gets even worse. Their best player is sent off. Mohammed Kudus pushes both Micky van de Ven and Pape Sarr in the face, VAR spots it, and he has to go.

The yellow is upgraded to a red.

VAR are checking it. Kudus also clashed with Pape Sarr.

Oh, and just like that, the referee is sent to the screen.

I am absolutely flabbergasted that Kudus had only got a yellow card.

  13. YELLOW CARDpublished at 85 mins

    Tottenham 4-1 West Ham

It's just a yellow. Mohammed Kudus and Micky van de Ven come together after a poor Kudus tackle.

They push and shove one another with Kudus pushing Van de Ven in the face.

Van de Ven also gets a yellow.

Most West Ham fans have left already.

West Ham and Manchester United have the same amount of points.

Fans of both those teams could use that as way to explain how badly their sides are doing.

SteveCLawley: Yes shocking by West Ham. No pace defensively. No idea how to handle a high line. Give Lopetegui a couple more games. After all we still have to play Man Utd.

I was personally never Moyes out, but anyone who thinks we would have done anything different or better under him in a game like today’s is absolutely deluding themselves!

Wait a minute, the match suddenly bursts back into life.

Timo Werner meets a curling cross at the back post but his header back across goal is kept out by an Alphonse Areola reaction save.

If Dominic Solanke was following in he'd have had an easy rebound.
