    Awful penalty from Andreas Pereira.

There was a debate about who was going to take it, Raul Jimenez took and scored the last one for Fulham, so I'm not sure that they have an out and out taker. He will be very frustrated after seeing Pereira's attempt there.

  2. Fletcher on the Man Utd benchpublished at 15:30 British Summer Time 19 October

    Manchester United 0-0 Brentford

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport's chief football news reporter

Jack Fletcher has been named on the Manchester United bench this afternoon.

Fletcher is the son of United coach - and former midfielder and Scotland international Darren - and twin brother of Tyler, who is also in the United academy.

Would be a bit of a strange day for Darren if Erik ten Hag introduced his son for his first-team debut.

Pride and concentration at the same time.

  3. Postpublished at 15:30 British Summer Time 19 October

    Southampton 2-0 Leicester

A warning shot for Southampton, as Victor Kristiansen's early cross is flicked on by Jamie Vardy, onto the roof of the net.

Jamie Vardy has been involved in 12 Premier League goals against the Saints, more than any other club. He may need to continue that streak to help Leicester get back into this game.

  4. Postpublished at 15:30 British Summer Time 19 October

    Ipswich Town 0-0 Everton

A no-nonsense sliding challenge from Everton's James Tarkowski, one Sean Dyche would've loved himself. Tarkowski gets the ball first, before sliding through Omari Hutchinson, who dusts himself down and is OK to carry on.

  5. 'Definite penalty'published at 15:29 British Summer Time 19 October

    Fulham 1-1 Aston Villa

    Ellen White
Former England striker on BBC Final Score

Raul Jimenez has headed the ball down and Matty Cash's arm is so far out from his body. Yes the ball comes at him from quite close range but if your arm is out like that then it is a definite penalty.

Head injury assessment in football…de Ligt should not be coming back on the pitch without a proper assessment. In a rugby game he would be treated differently.

  7. 'A massive chance that Calvert-Lewin has to score'published at 15:28 British Summer Time 19 October

    Ipswich Town 0-0 Everton

    Leon Osman
Former Everton and England midfielder on BBC Final Score

It was good work from Dominic Calvert-Lewin to win the ball back and get himself into the scoring position but it is a massive chance that he has to score.

Whether you chip the keeper or go around him, he didn't move the ball enough to test the keeper. He made it easier for Arijanet Muric.

  8. goal

GOAL - Southampton 2-0 Leicesterpublished at 15:27 British Summer Time 19 October

    Joe Aribo (27 mins)

First league win of the season incoming?

Again Southampton carve Leicester open down the left, this time through Kyle Walker- Peters. Again it is a low cross in from the left byline, and again it is finished low - this time by Joe Aribo, his first goal of the season.

Shocking Leicester defending to give Aribo yards of space in the box, but no Saints supporter will care.

  9. MISSED PENALTYpublished at 15:27 British Summer Time 19 October

    Fulham 1-1 Aston Villa

    Shocking pen.

Andreas Pereira gets no power behind his effort, it's not in a corner. He practically passes the ball straight to Emiliano Martinez.

  10. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:27 British Summer Time 19 October

Manchester United 0-0 Brentford (15:00 BST)

Lovely work from Alejandro Garnacho who touches the ball on to his left foot and let's fly a rasping effort. It would have crept inside the near post, only for a diving Mark Flekken to show great reflexes to keep it out.

  11. PENALTY TO FULHAMpublished at 15:26 British Summer Time 19 October

    Fulham 1-1 Aston Villa

It's given. It was against Matty Cash's hand with Raul Jimenez heading the ball.

To be fair, Cash's hand was a long, long way from his body.

  12. VAR

Video Assistant Refereepublished at 15:26 British Summer Time 19 October

    Fulham 1-1 Aston Villa

The referee's going to the monitor, checking a Fulham penalty shout. One of those where a player was jumping up for the ball and has it headed against their arm.

  13. Fine marginspublished at 15:26 British Summer Time 19 October

    Man Utd 0-0 Brentford

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport's chief football news reporter at Old Trafford

Mark Flekken had to react very quickly then.

The Brentford keeper dropped what appeared to be a straightforward flick on from Lisandro Martinez.

The ball struck Rasmus Hojlund on the back and Flekken was able to claw it away before it crossed the line.

It's the kind of fortune Manchester United need to go their way given their current struggles in front of goal.

Lisandro Martinez with the near post header.

I don't know what happened with Mark Flekken. It should have been an easy catch. Somehow Brentford scramble the ball clear.

  15. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:25 British Summer Time 19 October

    Ipswich Town 0-0 Everton

Ipswich, who gifted West Ham three of their four goals last time out, almost leave a present for Everton. Trying to play out from the back, Luke Woolfenden loses the ball and Dominic Calvert-Lewin is clean through with only Arijanet Muric to beat.

Credit to the Ipswich goalkeeper, he does well to stand up and Calvert-Lewin's shot bounces off Muric's body.

  16. Postpublished at 15:25 British Summer Time 19 October

    Southampton 1-0 Leicester City

Leicester are one of only three sides to have scored in every Premier League game they have played so far this season - Arsenal and Manchester City are the others.

But they have not threatened Aaron Ramsdale in the Southampton goal too much so far. The England keeper is called into action, but only to make a simple catch from Wilfred Ndidi's cross.

Manchester United have only led for one hour of Premier League football this season.

  18. Postpublished at 15:23 British Summer Time 19 October

    Ipswich Town 0-0 Everton

Ipswich Town's Jack Clarke reactsImage source, Reuters

That should be 1-0 to Ipswich Town. Good work from Wes Burns down the right flank and his pass finds Jack Clarke unmarked, central and near the penalty spot. But it is an ugly finish, leaning back and scooping the ball well over the top.

Ipswich have only scored six goals this season in the league, that should have been number seven.

  19. Postpublished at 15:22 British Summer Time 19 October

    Southampton 1-0 Leicester City

Leicester have improved after going behind early on, but will definitely not be winning 9-0 at St Mary's again today.

In fact, they are winless in their last three Premier League visits to Southampton since 2019.

  20. Postpublished at 15:21 British Summer Time 19 October

    Manchester United 0-0 Brentford

Bright from Marcus Rashford, who surges into the Brentford penalty area, only for his dangerous cross to be sent behind for a corner, which comes to nothing.
