Anthony Gordon has looked incredibly lively so far this afternoon. Lewis Dunk is not enjoying his afternoon against the England international at the moment.

    Ipswich Town 0-0 Everton

It's a bright start from Everton. Abdoulaye Doucoure and Idrissa Gueye link up down the right to earn a corner, but the chance comes to nothing as Jack Harrison fouls home keeper Arijanet Muric.

Jamie Vardy gets his first half-sight of goal, set up in the box following a fine run by Facundo Buonanotte. His shot is blocked behind by Jan Bednarek.

The subsequent corner is flicked over by Wilfred Ndidi.

  5. CLOSE!published at 15:19 British Summer Time 19 October

    Fulham 1-1 Aston Villa

Almost an Aston Villa lead! Ollie Watkins is played clean through by Youri Tielemans and only has Bernd Leno to beat.

He tries to dink it over the German stopper, but Leno is out quick and manages to stay tall and block with his body.

    Southampton 1-0 Leicester City

Southampton are without a home win in their last 10 Premier League games, across the 2022-23 campaign and this one. Their last home top flight win was in March 2023 - a 1-0 win over... Leicester.

They aim to double their lead here, but impressive teenage winger Tyler Dibling just runs out of room down the right.

Matthijs de Ligt had a cut treated on the top of his head.

The Manchester United defender is now back on the pitch and he is showing no signs of concussion, which is obviously a good sign.

    Victor Lindelof continues to warm-up.

Why does ETH continue to play Fernandes in a central role where he will play too far forward, leaving the midfield overrun by the opposition? Rashford will also play his usual 15 mins then go out of the game.

    Newcastle 0-0 Brighton

Should be 1-0 Newcastle. A ball into the box is flicked on toward Alexander Isak six yards out, but the Swede takes an air shot, swinging at the ball and completely missing it.

    Oops.

After all that wait for the Brentford free-kick, Keane Lewis-Potter can only blast it into the wall and the hosts clear.

Matthijs de Ligt has injured himself in that challenge with Kevin Schade and is needing treatment, with Brentford having to wait for that free-kick.

De Ligt had clattered into Schade, but also taken a kick to the head in the same incident. There is blood on the top of the United man's head.

    Southampton 1-0 Leicester City

Putting aside that 9-0 five years ago, Southampton have a dreadful recent record against Leicester - last season in the Championship, they lost 4-1 at home to the Foxes and 5-0 at the King Power Stadium.

Things are going slightly better so far today.

  14. CLOSE!published at 15:13 British Summer Time 19 October

    Southampton 1-0 Leicester City

Leicester are asking more questions of Southampton now. Another wide free kick, this time from the left, and another free header - this time by James Justin.

Justin however mistimes his effort, and it flies wide off his shoulder.

Morgan Rogers scores their first goalImage source, Reuters

What I like is Morgan Rogers in that pocket of space in front of the Fulham back line, such good movement.

The ball comes to him and he decides to take the shot on with four or five defenders in front of him, but it takes that lucky deflection and goes in. It is a huge deflection that takes it over the line.

After a 15-minute delay because of a problem with the turnstiles, the players are out on the pitch at Portman Road, with kick-off coming up shortly.

Newcastle are building. Anthony Gordon has shone so far and cuts a pass back to Alexander Isak, but the striker's first-time shot is blocked by his own team-mate Jacob Murphy.

  18. 'A clumsy challenge'published at 15:12 British Summer Time 19 October

    Manchester United 0-0 Brentford

    Chris Sutton
Ex-Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

A clumsy challenge from Matthijs de Ligt. This is at a decent range for Brentford.

  19. Postpublished at 15:11 British Summer Time 19 October

    Manchester United 0-0 Brentford

Kevin Schade has been wiped out by Matthijs de Ligt and Brentford have a free-kick centrally 25 yards out. Good chance this for the visitors.

  20. Saints on the marchpublished at 15:11 British Summer Time 19 October

    Southampton 1-0 Leicester City

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at St. Mary's

Great start for Southampton and that early lead has been fully deserved. The Saints have been right on it while Leicester City have not got started.

Big encouragement from the home fans, and manager Russell Martin absolutely loved that.
