    Hibernian 0-0 Kilmarnock

Since his first Scottish Premiership start against Celtic in February of this year, Hibernian’s Kieron Bowie has the best minutes per goal rate of any player to score more than twice in the Scottish top-flight.

He's scored seven goals at an average of one every 83 minutes.

  3. CLOSE!published at 15:17 British Summer Time 10 August

    Dundee United 0-0 Hearts

Aw man, if Frankie Kent was ruing his miss earlier, Claudio Braga is livid now.

A brilliant ball from Alan Forrest finds the run of the Portuguese at the front post, he gets a brilliant connection with his head, but directs it straight at Yevhenii Kucherenko.

What a start to this game. It's been brilliant!

  5. Postpublished at 15:12 British Summer Time 10 August

    Hibernian 0-0 Kilmarnock

Indecisive at the back from Hibs, and Rocky Bushiri has to clear from the bye-line as Jordan Smith refuses to come off his line.

From the resulting cross, Smith watches the ball loop over his head and fly by the face of the goal, but there's no one to tap in.

  6. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:12 British Summer Time 10 August

    Dundee United 0-0 Hearts

Ooft, well played Zander Clark. Vicko Sevelj tries his luck from distance and it dips horribly in front of the Hearts goalkeeper, but he watches it carefully and pushes it away for a corner.

Once the ball comes in, it falls for Craig Sibbald but his effort is blocked. Hearts race up the other end, and a cross from Harry Milne is begging to be headed home but there is nobody in a white jersey there.

    Breathless stuff.

  7. 📻 Bragapublished at 15:09 British Summer Time 10 August

    Dundee United 0-0 Hearts

    Allan Preston
Former Hearts midfielder on BBC Sportsound

Claudio Braga is a box of tricks. He's really good with the ball at his feet and links it up well.

  8. Postpublished at 15:09 British Summer Time 10 August

    Hibernian 0-0 Kilmarnock

    Big chance for Hibs there.

Elie Youan and Jamie McGrath link up brilliantly on the left and it's played to Junior Hoilett on the edge of the box.

Instead of laying it off, he takes a touch past the keeper and opens up his body... but curls it wide of the near post. He has to hit the target.

  9. Postpublished at 15:09 British Summer Time 10 August

    Dundee United 0-0 Hearts

Frankie Kent is kicking himself. It's a brilliant outswinging delivery from a corner from Harry Milne. The big centre-back is free in the middle of the box but sends his header into the Shed End at Tannadice.

It was neat play between Lawrence Shankland and Claudio Braga in the build-up to win that corner.

    BBC Scotland at Easter Road

There is a huge expectation now around Easter Road given their excellent finish to last season and the way they have started this campaign. And that it’s reflected in the atmosphere around the stadium at kick-off.

Kilmarnock may well be struggling with injuries but they have a game plan and will be looking to exploit any lapses in the home defence.

  11. Postpublished at 15:06 British Summer Time 10 August

    Hibernian 0-0 Kilmarnock

First half-chance for Hibs as the ball comes in from the left for Kieron Bowie, but the ball is at an awkward height and he doesn't catch it cleanly.

Some tasty challenges flying in early as well.

  12. KICK-OFFpublished at 15:00 British Summer Time 10 August

The whistle peeps at Tannadice and Easter Road.

Goals, drama, and two decent games of football, please and thanks.

  13. Postpublished at 14:56 British Summer Time 10 August

    Hibernian v Kilmarnock (15:00)

Aye, Killie are looking a bit threadbare already.

Injuries, a suspension, Corrie Ndaba sold quicker than expected, Brad Lyons unavailable for family reasons... Killie can't catch a break at the moment. Tough start to the new season.

  15. United grappling with 'lengthy injury list' - Goodwinpublished at 14:51 British Summer Time 10 August

    Dundee United v Hearts (15:00)

Dundee manager Jim Goodwin tells Sportsound: "Unfortunately Isaac Pappoe suffered a bad knee injury, we'll get the scan results tomorrow but it doesn't look good. Will Ferry is suspended after too many bookings last season and Max Watters picked up a 48-hour bug on the way back from Vienna. He couldn't train yesterday and doesn't feel great today.

"It's the last thing we need given how lengthy the injury list already is with the likes of Strain, Graham, Trapanovski, Naamo - we're missing a lot of key players and don't have the luxury of freshening things up.

"They're a great bunch of boys, we found out a lot about their character on Thursday evening. We're going to need more than that his afternoon."

  16. Borchgrevink inujury 'a blow' - McInnespublished at 14:49 British Summer Time 10 August

    Dundee United v Hearts (15:00)

Hearts manager Derek McInnes told BBC Scotland: "[Christian Borchgrevink] He is [injured]. It's a real blow. It makes the decision to let Adam Forrester go on loan to St Johnstone, we have the ability to bring him back , we'll get the game out the way and have a discussion about that.

"Borchgrevink reported with tightness in his thigh so we sent him for a scan and the results yesterday wasn't what we wanted. He'll be out for a matter of weeks.

"We're trying to make some room in the squad, we're a bit top-heavy in numbers but we'll deal with that tomorrow. For now, Alan Forrest has never let us down, he knows his job.

"Hopefully we turn in a good performance and follow on from what we've done."

  17. Three changes purely down to 'freshness' says Graypublished at 14:47 British Summer Time 10 August

    Hibernian v Kilmarnock (15:00)

Hibernian head coach David Gray tells BBC Scotland: "It's always difficult to make changes off the back of that level of [good] performance, the boys are feeling good about themselves.

"But it's about freshness, it's about trying to maintain that level of performance.

"Martin is fine, disappointed he's not playing - which is what you expect and want, he wants to play every minute of every game. I never want him to lose that.

"He knocked his knee a little the other night, but no reaction to that, so that's positive.

"I'm literally just looking at today, I'm not looking beyond that. This will be a tough test in our first home game."

  18. Kettlewell explains Lyons absencepublished at 14:45 British Summer Time 10 August

    Hibernian v Kilmarnock (15:00)

Kilmarnock manager Stuart Kettlewell tells BBC Scotland: "It's not been easy this week, we've had our challenges through injuries.

"Today, we hoped Brad [Lyons] would make it - being our captain and such an influential player - but his wife is in labour, so that changed the plan.

"We're down to the bare bones. That's no disrespect to anybody that's here, but in the second game of the season it becomes a challenge.

"Whether the fatigue or travelling kicks in, they're a team full of confidence and they're moving in a strong direction. They were excellent here against Midtjylland, that tie could have gone either way."

  19. Ferry and Watters missing for Unitedpublished at 14:43 British Summer Time 10 August

    Dundee United v Hearts (15:00)

Dundee United are without Will Ferry, through suspension, and Max Watters, because of illness, as well as Isaac Pappoe after Thursday night's draw in Vienna.

Miller Thomson and Owen Stirton come into the side, as does Croatian forward Ivan Dolcek. Jim Goodwin has told BBC Scotland they're sticking with a back three. Thomson and Dolcek will play in the wing-back berths and Vicko Sevelj will shift back into midfield.

    FT: Aberdeen 0-2 Celtic

Since November 9, Aberdeen have won just five games in the Scottish Premiership.

In that time, they've played 29 league matches, losing 17 times and drawing seven.

    Not ideal.
