That might be Sunderland's hopes of automatic promotion gone.

One or both of the top two, Leeds and Sheffield United, will drop points when they meet on Monday.

But eight points is a lot to claw back for the Black Cats.

Millwall's late victory at Derby has kept their play-off hopes alive.

So then, what's that done to the tables at the top and bottom?

  3. 'Plymouth gave everything'published at 14:33 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    FT: Plymouth 1-1 Cardiff

    Brian McGlinchey
Former Plymouth Argyle defender on BBC Radio Devon

Argyle for me in the second half were a lot better.

They made a game of it, Cardiff just sat back in and did enough to get the point in the end.

There was plenty of endeavour and effort from the Plymouth players though, some of them are on their knees, they have given everything.

    Plymouth 1-1 Cardiff

Cardiff seemed to be flying when they took the lead through Yousef Salach after 11 minutes.

But Plymouth came out for the second half, made some substitutes, and everything changed when Dimitrios Goutas was sent off for a foul on Bali Mumba.

The home side got an equaliser through Muhamed Tijani and then ensued a period of stoppages through injuries, and some rude words exchanged between both sets of players.

The points are shared but Cardiff will be the happier of the two teams.

    Derby 0-1 Millwall

    And it was.

A cruel finish for Derby but Millwall will argue they did enough to deserve that as Josh Coburn made up for his earlier penalty miss with the winner.

The Rams remain in the bottom three and are now without a win in 11 matches.

As worryingly, they have failed to score in six successive home matches.

A first win in four boosts Millwall's play-off hopes.

    Derby 0-1 Millwall

Craig Forsyth almost gets on the end of a long ball launched into the Millwall box, but keeper Lukas Jensen just beats him to it.

That could be the last chance.

Is there time for one final chance? We've played 101 minutes!

    FT: Sunderland 0-1 Hull City

    Peter Swan
Former Hull City player on BBC Radio Humberside

Hull have dug in and they absolutely deserve the three points.

I don't know how they beat the top teams when no one expects it.

The manager just gets his tactics right against the big teams, it is down to some great defending and Ruben Selles.

  9. Postpublished at 14:29 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Plymouth 1-1 Cardiff

Not much is happening. The game is becoming very disjointed as both sides try to dupe the referee.

  10. Postpublished at 14:28 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Derby 0-1 Millwall

    Eric Steele
Former Derby and Man Utd goalkeeper on BBC Radio Derby

It was a tap in from two yards out for Coburn, he couldn't have missed.

When you look at some of the chances Derby have had they have chosen the wrong option each time today.

Pride Park is silent apart from the away fans.

Sunderland's unbeaten home record is over!

The Black Cats' bad week has gone from bad to worse and you'd have to assume their hopes of crashing the top two are now all-but done.

Goalkeeper Anthony Patterson turned Joe Gelhardt's corner into his own goal to give the Tigers a first half lead that, in truth, they never really looked like relinquishing.

Ruben Selles' men have now won four of their past five games away from home and their survival bid is looking much better now than it did at midday.

Wilson Isidor headed the home side's best chance wide with about 20 minutes to go but they never really built up a head of steam against a disciplined Hull defence.

  12. Postpublished at 14:28 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Sunderland 0-1 Hull City

Steven Alzate goes for goal from 25 yards for the away side but his shot hits team-mate Joao Pedro and runs easily to Anthony Patterson in the Black Cats goal.

    That's almost that.

  13. Postpublished at 14:27 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Plymouth 1-1 Cardiff

The Cardiff goalkeeper is now up and moving around with a slight hobble.

GOAL: Derby 0-1 Millwallpublished at 14:26 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Josh Coburn (90+5 mins)

Josh Coburn has probably won it for Millwall!

A quick break down the left sees the ball played low towards the six-yard box.

George Saville's snap shot is brilliantly stopped by Derby keeper Jacob Zetterström, but it breaks to Coburn to poke into an empty net.

  15. YELLOW CARDpublished at 14:25 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Sunderland 0-1 Hull City

Hull defender John Egan takes one for the team with a cynical foul.

  16. Postpublished at 14:25 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Plymouth 1-1 Cardiff

Uh oh, tempers are starting to flare up here.

Cardiff keeper Jan Alnwick goes down in the box injured and Plymouth don't seem to want to kick the ball out.

Temporary striker Katic is written into the referee's book for getting a little angry at the away players after the whistle is finally blown.

  17. Postpublished at 14:24 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Sunderland 0-1 Hull City

Three minutes of time added on to go.

Sunderland have thrown defender/midfielder/striker Luke O'Nien up top to try and find a goal but the ball's down the other end as Gus Puerta's deflected shot goes out for a corner to Hull.

  18. Postpublished at 14:24 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Plymouth Argyle 1-1 Cardiff City

    Brian McGlinchey
Former Plymouth Argyle defender on BBC Radio Devon

Cardiff have managed the game really well since the goal.

Argyle have to keep their heads, they can't let frustration get to them there is plenty of time left.

  19. INJURY TIMEpublished at 14:22 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Derby 0-0 Millwall

Eight minutes of injury time for both sides to find a winner.

  20. INJURY TIMEpublished at 14:22 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Sunderland 0-1 Hull City

There will be a minimum of six minutes added on to this one.

Can Sunderland do what Leeds did to them on Monday and grab an injury-time goal?

A lot of home fans don't think so as they head for the exits.
