Bournemouth come from behind to beat managerless West Brom

Dango Ouattara scored twice as stylish Bournemouth came from behind to beat managerless West Brom and move into the FA Cup fourth round.

The Baggies, led by caretaker boss Chris Brunt, took the lead when Caleb Taylor headed in a rebound after Grady Diangana hit the crossbar.

But Justin Kluivert levelled for Andoni Iraola's in-form Premier League side from close range after David Brooks' effort was parried by Joe Wildsmith.

Kluivert then picked out Ouattara with a clever reverse ball and the forward slammed a shot past the keeper from a tight angle.

The Burkina Faso international then ran onto Brooks' ball to cap off a counter-attack and make it 3-1 before the break.

Brooks then picked out Antoine Semenyo, moments after his half-time introduction, to smash in a fourth.

In injury time, Daniel Jebbison scored his first goal for the club from Semenyo's through-ball.

Champions League chasers Bournemouth are now unbeaten in nine games.

West Brom turn their attentions back to the Championship and hiring a new manager.

They are thought to be close to hiring former Basel and Young Boys coach Raphael Wicky to replace Carlos Corberan, who left for Valencia on Christmas Eve.

Bournemouth's forwards help cover for striker absence

Bournemouth's first two choice strikers have both suffered serious injuries this month. Evanilson is out after having surgery on a broken foot, while Enes Unal tore his ACL in training.

They recalled Jebbison from his loan at Watford – and he came on in the second half - but he is unlikely to spearhead Bournemouth's chase for a European place.

The 21-year-old got his first goal for the club right at the end, with his effort hitting the goalkeeper and looping into the empty net.

Iraola has already confirmed they will be looking for a new striker in January as a result of those injuries.

But one thing they are absolutely not lacking are goalscoring forwards.

Kluivert, Ouattara and Semenyo are all good finishers on their day – with David Brooks behind them, also in fine form.

Kluivert's seventh goal of the season got them back into the game after a shaky start.

Ouattara, often a winger but playing centrally here, has scored five goals, with four of them coming in the last six games after his double.

And Semenyo, a half-time sub in a tactical reshuffle, has now hit six goals in total.

They are all decent tallies – but whether they end up getting into the Champions League may depend on whether they are led by a proper number nine or not.
