Summary

  1. GREAT SAVE!published at 21:12 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January

    Derby 0-1 Sunderland

It is almost an exact replica of what happened a couple of moments ago.

More terrific wing play from Corey Blackett-Taylor down the left. He puts his cross into the same position where it's met by the same header from Lars-Jorgen Salvesen.

And to complete the deja vu, Anthony Patterson makes an identical flying save.

    Harrison Burrows (pen, 68 mins)

Sheffield United's Harrison Burrows (left) celebratesImage source, PA Media

Death. Taxes. Harrison Burrows' trusty left foot.

He got a couple at the weekend and it's a first of the night for the former Peterborough left-back as he keeps his nerve to slot low into the bottom corner from the spot, sending Lawrence Vigouroux the wrong way from the spot.

As things stand, the Blades are back on top of the pile.

  3. goal

GOAL Oxford 3-2 Lutonpublished at 21:11 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January

    Greg Leigh (69 mins)

In front for the first time tonight.

Sheffield United's Tyrese Campbell (left) is challenged by Swansea City's Josh Key which results in a penalty kickImage source, PA Media

Nightmare for Josh Key as the defender gets the wrong side of Tyrese Campbell and clumsily brings him down from behind.

Blades have the chance to complete the turnaround and go ahead...

    Blackburn 0-2 Coventry

GOAL Bolton 1-0 Charltonpublished at 21:09 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January

    Joel Randall (55 mins)

It's been coming... and now Wanderers have their lead.

It's a first Bolton goal for Joel Randall, but it owes everything to Aaron Collins who times his run in behind perfectly before squaring unselfishly for Randall to open his account for the Trotters.

    Derby 0-1 Sunderland

    Nick Barnes
    BBC Newcastle's Sunderland commentator

Sunderland have got to weather this spell.

  9. GREAT SAVE!published at 21:09 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January

    Derby 0-1 Sunderland

Almost an immediate impact and lift-off for his Derby career for Lars-Jorgen Salvesen.

It's super play from Corey Blackett-Taylor down the left and his cross is right on the money for Salvesen to meet at the back stick with a fine header back where it came from.

But it's kept out by a flying save from Anthony Patterson.

  10. YELLOW CARDpublished at 21:08 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January

    Swansea 1-1 Sheff Utd

    VERY stop-start ay present.

    Swansea 1-1 Sheff Utd

Sydie Peck has his name taken by referee Dean Whitestone after sliding in on Florian Bianchini as he tried to outmanoeuvre him with some tidy skill.

Peck looks shocked but he shouldn't' really.

Dean Whitestone is not just a ref, of course, he'd also make a perfect head teacher for Bedrock High School in the Flintstones... (ask your dad!).

  12. goal

GOAL Hull City 0-1 QPRpublished at 21:06 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January

    Kenneth Paal (64 mins)

Owen Dodgson is freed on the left and his cross is just in front of the last defender around the penalty spot.

Rumarn Burrell controls, turns and nudges a left-foot shot past the onrushing goalkeeper.

A goal down earlier but the bottom side now ahead.

  16. KICK-OFFpublished at 21:04 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January

    Millwall 2-1 Cardiff

We're back up to a full complement once again... we had goals in the opening and closing seconds of the first-half. What does the second 45 have in store for us?

  17. CLOSE!published at 21:03 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January

    Derby 0-1 Sunderland

How has Wilson Isidor not wrapped this game up for Sunderland?

Derby have a corner and the French striker leads the counter-attack from 70 yards. Nobody has the pace to catch as he arrives inside the box, cuts inside a defender and only has the goalkeeper to beat.

He must score, but Kenzo Goudmijn runs back from the same distance to make a vital block to send the ball out for a corner.

Isidor has a similar dazed look to the one he had after missing those two pens at Burnley on Friday.

    Milutin Osmajić (56 mins)

    Finally Preston have their second!

    Nothing special about it.

A long ball into the right-hand channel sees Milutin Osmajic racing clear.

He angles into the area and smashes home with his right boot for his second of the night
