Manuel Benson replaced Ronald in the Swansea starting XI, but that is reversed as the Brazilian comes on.

On the other flank, Zeidane Inoussa comes off for Eom Ji-Sung.

The Tractor Boys level it up.

Chuba Akpom goes to ground under challenge from Ross McCrorie and referee John Busby points to the spot,

Jack Clarke is normally reliable from 12 yards and he makes no mistake.

    We're all square.

  3. 'We really needed that'published at 20:59 BST

    Sheffield United 1-1 Southampton

    Jo Tessem
Ex-Southampton midfielder on BBC Radio Solent

We really needed that and we have started better.

Maybe this can kick start Ross Stewart's season, he's not had a lot to go on but he's doing better in that linkup role.

He has had a header and a shot in the first half and now he's scored!

  4. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:59 BST

    Middlesbrough 0-0 Stoke

Better from Stoke since the break and Sorba Thomas has seen an effort destine for the top corner tipped around the woodwork by the fingertips of Sol Brynn while Million Manhoef has fired wide from Robert Bozenik's pass and Eric Bocat's low rasper skidded narrowly wide too.

    Ross Stewart (51 mins)

If at first you don't succeed...

Adam Armstrong gets a free header at a corner which flicks off the bar and fall at the feet of Ross Stewart who steers it past Michael Cooper.

He'd already forced Cooper into two very good saves, now he has his goal, his first of the season as well.

  6. Postpublished at 20:56 BST

    Blackburn 1-1 Swansea

Todd Cantwell has a great chance to put Blackburn ahead for the second time.

It is all very scrappy in the right corner, but the ball somehow finds its way into the centre where Cantwell has a good angle to fire across the goalkeeper.

He doesn't quite find the corner which gives Lawrence Vigouroux the chance to push away.

  7. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:56 BST

    Birmingham 1-1 Sheff Wed

Better from Blues as Tommy Doyle finds Jay Stansfield who sends in a curling shot from outside the box which is well saved by the flying Ethan Horvath in the Owls goal.

  8. Postpublished at 20:55 BST

    Sheff Utd 1-0 Southampton

Almost a second for the home side but Alex McCarthy comes to Southampton's rescue.

Gustavo Hamer fools everyone with a free kick by sliding it along the ground to Callum O'Hare who forces a good save out of McCarthy.

  9. Postpublished at 20:54 BST

    Middlesbrough 0-0 Stoke

Great work from Hayden Hackney who charges down a clearance, drives into the box and cuts back superbly from the right for the on-rushing Aidan Morris who blazes well over the bar from near the penalty spot.

Heads in hands all round. Got to get that on target.

If Southampton could actually find a way to put it in the net this season that would be grand.

Never mind promotion back to the Premier League, we’ll be lucky to avoid relegation at this rate!

  11. 'Twenty million pounds off the pitch'published at 20:53 BST

    Sheffield United 1-0 Southampton

    Adam Blackmore
    BBC Radio Solent sports editor

I'm not sure Saints' fans are going to be overjoyed with the half-time substitutions.

Tom Fellows and Fin Azaz have been taken off for Ryan Fraser and Jay Robinson.

I though Fellows was one of their brighter attacking sparks, but to take of Azaz as well, that's twenty million pounds off the pitch for a back five.

  12. SUBSTITUTIONS & YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:53 BST

    Sheff Utd 1-0 Southampton

So, no Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder on the touchline for this second period.

He got a red card for hitting a ball into the crowd which hit a Blades fan,

Wilder apologised - the supporter accepted the apology - but it's still a sending off for the home boss.

Southampton have made two changes at the break.

Jay Robinson and Ryan Fraser are on for Finn Azaz and Tom Fellows.

Sheffield United skipper Japhet Tanganga was also cautioned just before the break and now the Saints Shea Charles is carded.

    I think that's everything...

    Leicester 1-0 Wrexham

Luke Thomas was booked in the first half, and 45 minutes against the tricky Issa Kabore is too long to risk.

Victor Kristiansen on at left-back for the second half.

James Bree scores for Charlton against DerbyImage source, Rex Features

Charlton have won four of their past seven games on the road in the EFL and they lead at Pride Park.

James Bree's second goal of the season - a whistler into the top corner - has given the Addicks the advantage.

Derby are yet to win at home this season.

  16. goal

GOAL: Hull City 1-2 Prestonpublished at 20:49 BST

    Oli McBurnie (48 mins)

Maybe not too late... Hull look a different side.

That's three goals and three assists in four home games for Oli McBurnie and the fourth straight game he's scored in.

The new darling of the MKM collects a low cross from Ryan Giles on the left, takes a touch and lashes past Daniel Iversen inside his near post.

From their first shot on target, too...

  17. Postpublished at 20:48 BST

    Hull City 0-2 Preston

Hull were booed off at the break, loudly, and boss Sergej Jakirovic has opted to bring Liam Millar, Joe Gelhardt and Regan Slater on to try to change their fortunes in the second half.

    Too little too late?

CJ Hamilton scores for Blackpool against LutonImage source, Rex Features

The only goal of the first halves in League One belongs to CJ Hamilton.

The Blackpool man smashed under the Luton goalkeeper inside the first 10 minutes to take the Tangerines out the relegation zone, as it stands.

Cardiff's attempts to end the night at the summit has hit a Burton rearguard. The Bluebirds have had 78 per cent of possession and have an xG of 1.02 from 10 shots but haven't managed to find a way through.
