  1. 'To lose in that manner is sickening'published at 17:26 British Summer Time 26 April

    FT: Brighton 3-2 West Ham

    West Ham United

West Ham forward Jarrod Bowen to PLP: "It's gutting. To lose the game in that manner is sickening. But we have to look at ourselves. This is not the first time we have been in a winning position and not picked up points. This is the Premier League, you have to be on it.

"We have four big games to end the season. We have Tottenham next week which is a big derby for us, so we have to bounce back".

  2. 'We are playing final after final after final'published at 17:24 British Summer Time 26 April

    FT: Southampton 1-2 Fulham

    Fulham

Fulham manager Marco Silva speaking to the BBC: "Firstly we deserved the three points. From the first minute we were the team that took the control. Our first half was not the level we normally play and it makes it harder when you concede a goal from a wide free kick where we clearly should have done much better.

"Not many first half chances but enough for a different half time result. We lacked confidence and composure in the 18 yard box and missed some moments that we had to equalise the game.

"The changes at half time were to give different things to the team. We had more one v one with Adama and Lukic and more dynamic with Wilson in the middle.

"We know Emile is good in those spaces on the half turn receiving the ball and he is a crucial player when he is at his best. Let's hope this goal gives him the confidence that is needed. And Sess we know he smells the balls inside the box and the moments to finalise.

"The win is what we needed. We wanted to bounce back and reignite the flame for us to fight for what we want. We are playing final after final after final and it will be like that every week for the rest of the season. This three points is massive for us, and now we have to prepare well the next final against Aston Villa."

  3. 'We want to be back here in 14 months'published at 17:22 British Summer Time 26 April

    FT: Newcastle 3-0 Ipswich

    Ipswich Town

Ipswich defender Luke Woolfenden, speaking to PLP: "Obviously disappointed, but within the gorup and support there is a sense of pride over where we have come from. We've not been at it this season. I think brain-wise we have probably let ourselves down one too many times.

"Disappointed and gutted the dream is over but I think there's is a pride and determination that we want to be back here in 14 months."

On Ben Johnson's red card and the penalty: "I'm not sure the first one is a yellow, but the second one definitely is so once he has got a yellow, the ref has to do that. The penalty is what it is."

On Kieran McKenna's message at full-time: "We went over to the away end at the end and it's full, they've been brilliant. We want to come back here and give a better account of ourselves in 14 months and go toe-to-toe with Newcastle."

I tell you what Southampton did the Hammers a huge favour by beating Leeds in the play-off final last year. I reckon Leeds would have stayed up and West Ham would have gone down.

  5. 'Four games to go, game by game'published at 17:18 British Summer Time 26 April

    FT: Chelsea 1-0 Everton

    Chelsea

Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca to TNT Sports: "The three points is very important. The first half we dominated, the second we dropped a little bit but it is part of the game. We defended well when we needed too. Overall it is a good game and we are happy".

On Robert Sanchez: "Very happy. He has received some criticism in the last weeks that is not good. You can see how his team-mates celebrate with him because he deserves that".

On the race to qualify for the Champions League: "Four games to go, game by game. It is how we manage the emotion. The most important thing is we are there [currently in the top five].

  6. 'They never got away from us'published at 17:16 British Summer Time 26 April

    FT: Chelsea 1-0 Everton

    Everton

Everton boss David Moyes to TNT Sports: "We were not very good in the first half but were a lot better in the second. It is always a tough game here but they never got away from us. We had a few opportunities in the second half but could not find that goal".

On Beto conceding possession for the only goal: "These moments happen. We are trying to play a bit more but you are always liable to make mistakes and on this occassion we did."

On what his side need to improve on: "We need more goals. But you have to work with what you have got and these players have done an unbelievable job".

On what he wants to see between now and the end of the season: "I only want to see what they have shown me since I came in. Attitude, commitment, desire. And because of that we will continue to play the same way. We want to get better but there are a lot of good things".

If it wasn't for Man Utd and Spurs being so awful, West Ham's situation would be getting a lot more attention. Dreadful season from them!

  8. 'We kept digging and got the winner'published at 17:13 British Summer Time 26 April

    FT: Southampton 1-2 Fulham

    Fulham

Fulham defender Ryan Sessegnon speaking to PLP: "I feel amazing. Very very happy. It was a difficult game, they made it hard for us, particularly in the first half. But credit to the boys we kept digging, had most of the ball in the second half and thankfully got the winner.

"We knew it was going to be difficult to come here. They've got the chance to play with freedom because unfortunately for them they are already down, so the pressure is off. They showed their quality with the free kick and we just had to respond in the second half. Thankfully we did.

"The manager was very disappointed with us in the first half. We weren't dynamic enough on the ball and didn't penetrate enough. In the second half we played with more urgency and moved the ball much quicker because we had to and won the game.

"The win was very important today. We had the chance to play before Bournemouth and we got the three points so now the pressure is back on them."

On scoring the 1000th goal of the Premier League season: "That's crazy. A very good landmark so I'm happy with that."

  10. 'I love to be here'published at 17:09 British Summer Time 26 April

    FT: Wolves 3-0 Leicester

    Wolves

Wolves forward Matheus Cunha: "We are very committed to this club, everyone, and want to show the fans our capacity. We're starting to get the points we deserve and show everyone our work."

On Vitor Pereira: "Right now it is easy to talk about him. He came here to help us, this is the most important point. When you show these kind of things on the pitch, he has his hand in it.

"Everyone is very happy to have him and all the coaches around."

On the fans: "I always say that I am always happy to play for this team. Sometimes my emotion is too much because I love to be here."

What a mess at West Ham. European Conference League champions two years ago. If the bottom three weren’t so awful we’d surely be in a relegation battle and looking at Championship football. I like Potter, but can he give us what Moyes did? I’m starting to have doubts.

  12. 'I am just buzzing'published at 17:06 British Summer Time 26 April

    FT: Brighton 3-2 West Ham

    Brighton & Hove Albion

Brighton captain Lewis Dunk to Sky Sports: "That was good fun. We started excellently but once we went 1-0 up we stopped playing and the intensity dropped. Second half they started better but he showed character to win the game".

On Carlos Baleba's goal: "We have worked on tactics needing a goal in the last minute and that wasn't a tactic. But he put it in the top corner so the gaffer cannot say anything.

"I am just buzzing. We have shown great character after a tough run. It is massive to keep us in the race to where want to go."

Vitor Pereira is soaking up the adulation of the home fans at Molineux.

What a job the Wolves manager has done this season. He was brought in to stave off relegation, he's done that and much, much more.

His side had 20 shots as they bossed Leicester throughout. The Foxes had a chance to get back into the game but Jamie Vardy saw his penalty saved by Jose Sa as the visitors dismal season continues.

    Southampton 1-2 Fulham

Big win for Fulham but real disappointment for Southampton.

For so long the hosts looked set for a first home league win since 2 November after Jack Stephens opened the scoring.

But goals from Emile Smith Rowe and Ryan Sessegnon, the latter in the 92nd minute, leaves them with nothing.

The Saints stay level with 2007-08 Derby on 11 points.
