When I lost at predictions a few weeks running last season, I didn't get a call from the BBC offering me a new deal.

Yet that is what seems to be happening with Wolves boss Vitor Pereira, which is really odd. They have already lost their first four league games, and if he loses the next four they will be calling for his head.

Wolves might feel they deserved something from their defeat at Newcastle last time out, after starting that game quite well, but that is nothing to how devastated Leeds will feel after losing out to a last-gasp own goal at Fulham.

That left Leeds without a point or even a goal on the road, while Wolves are without a point at all, so something has to give here.

Wolves are without the injured Jorgen Strand Larsen up front, which is a blow, but I am still backing them to win this one - maybe a new contract for Pereira will mean a new dawn for his team?

Wolves sit bottom of the Premier League table with four defeats from four games, but there has been some positive news off the pitch.

Earlier this week manager Vitor Pereira signed a new three-year contract at Molineux, before striker Jorgen Strand Larsen penned a new five-year deal.

Giving your manager a new contract after such a poor start to the season might seem ill-advised, but given Pereira was set to be out of contract at the end of the season, the move ends potentially unsettling speculation and is a vote of confidence in the Portuguese coach.

Strand Larsen was a target of Newcastle over the summer, so a new deal secures Wolves their main goal threat, and should increase his value should they decide to sell next year.

Of course, new contracts are of little comfort to supporters unless results improve. Will Pereira be able to celebrate his new deal with a first win of the season?

Plenty of coats in the stadiums this afternoon.

A third home London derby in just the fifth league game of the season is probably not what under-pressure West Ham manager Graham Potter would have wanted right now.

Defeats to Chelsea and Tottenham at home, and away to Sunderland on the opening day of the season, means Potter has overseen 11 defeats in his 22 league games in charge.

Most concerning are the defensive struggles of his side - the Hammers have conceded a league-high 11 goals in just four games, with six of those coming directly from corners.

Thousands of West Ham fans left their seats early with their side trailing Tottenham 3-0 last weekend. Defeat to Crystal Palace would only fuel that discontent and increase the pressure on Potter.

Everton

Everton's Jack Grealish, speaking to TNT Sports: "It was what I expected, coming here it was hostile, faster. I don't think we played well in the first-half, we came in a half-time and had a chat with the manager and then second half, we lost the game in the second half. Frustrating because if we had played like that, pressed like that from the start it would have been a different game. In the end we couldn't get that last goal.

"When I have watched them [Liverpool] this season they have been so good but there has been a few times they have gone 2-0 up and then conceded two, we had the belief. We got the one back, a great finish Idrissa [Gueye] but we couldn't get that last goal."

Both these sides could really do with a win today.

Burnley will feel like they could have nicked a point off champions Liverpool on Sunday but it wasn't to be.

With three points on the board, Scott Parker's men will be wanting to make it six and strengthen their push for survival.

I got in an argument with a couple of West Ham fans on 606 because they had left early during last weekend's defeat by Spurs.

It's their right, I get that, but if you are a proper fan, you don't leave early. I never did that as a kid when I used to support Nottingham Forest.

West Ham are at home again this week, but that is more likely to hinder them than help them - and how many times have we seen this movie with the Hammers now?

The owners always take the brunt of the blame when things are going wrong but they spent over £120m on new players this summer, with a net spend of £70m, and the problem for boss Graham Potter is that there hasn't been any improvement from when he took over in January.

Crystal Palace are so well drilled that, even if they are without injured duo Ismaila Sarr and Adam Wharton, they should still do a job on them.

If West Ham's results do not improve there will be more protests in the future, warned those behind today's demonstrations.

About 3,000 fans protested outside the directors' entrance to the London Stadium earlier on today, with a host of banners, flags and chants aimed at chairman David Sullivan and vice-chair Karren Brady.

Event organisers urged West Ham fans to bring the flags for their next away game, at Everton next Monday, and said they would boycott the Irons' home game against Brentford.

A further, larger march and demonstration could then be held before the Burnley game on Saturday, 8 November.

Rachel, who has been a West Ham fan since 1996, said the protests were ‘long overdue’ and added: "The board sold our stadium and we are renting an athletics stadium which is not fit for purpose.

“We’re not seeing any investment in our club or the training facilities and you compare that to teams like Leicester, Brighton and Brentford and they spend more than what we have done.

“We’re treated as customers, not as fans. A lot of people are upset and this is a sign of things to come. They are trying to replace the long-term fans with tourists. I’m not sure the relationship is reparable, they have not listened to the fans. We just want them to leave.”

The teams are going in for their final instructions as the stadiums fill to capacity.

I was at Tottenham's Champions League win over Villarreal on Tuesday for Radio 5 Live, and they were a little bit flat - they only had one shot on target all night, and only scored thanks to an own goal.

Spurs have started the season in a similar way to Liverpool, in that they have not always played that well but most of the time they have still got a result - apart from their defeat by Bournemouth.

What they have in their favour is two incredible centre-halves, in Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven, who were both phenomenal against Villarreal - Thomas Frank just has to hope he can keep them fit.

Brighton are inconsistent but they are brave and they have some dangerous attacking players. They will take the game to Spurs, and my gut feeling is they will take the win, too.

Sutton's prediction: 2-1

Brighton & Hove Albion

Brighton tasted defeat for the second time this season last weekend when they fell at Bournemouth.

Seagulls boss Hurzeler admitted his side lacked intensity: "We always do a lot of reflection no matter if we win or lose. Overall, we agreed it wasn't our best game.

"I think we lacked a little bit of intensity and compactness between our midfield, striker and our defender so the distance between each other was too big. I think between each other we didn't play our game only in some phases. Overall, we were honest and analysed and agreed we can play better football."

It has been a frustrating start to the season for Leeds United, albeit one with positives to take.

A freak own-goal from Gabriel Gudmundsson denied Daniel Farke's side a hard-fought point away at Fulham last weekend, so his players will be desperate to make amends against bottom of the table Wolves.

Goals could be an issue though - Leeds haven't scored since their 1-0 opening day victory against Everton, and are yet to score from open play in the Premier League this season.

The injury absences of Daniel James and Willy Gnonto won't help their cause, but Dominic Calvert-Lewin will hope to score his first goal for the club since joining in the summer.

Contrasting moods amongst the fans arriving here at London Stadium - with thousands of West Ham supporters taking part in a protest against the club's hierarchy, while there's also a sense of foreboding about what might lie ahead on the pitch later too.

As for the Palace contingent, they're enjoying a 16 match unbeaten run and are further buoyed by the return of England International Adam Wharton after injury.

Thomas Frank has made an impressive start to life as Tottenham boss but today will prove a real test.

Brighton haven't had the greatest start to the new season but showed what they can do with a stunning 2-1 win over Man City at home.

Two games, two defeats for Ange Postecoglou at Nottingham Forest.

The Australian kicked off his Forest reign with a 3-0 loss at Arsenal before being knocked out of the League Cup by Championship side Swansea on Wednesday.

The pressure is on to get that first win.
