The first penalty looked harsh, I don't think Jose Sa can have too many complaints on this one.

A heavy touch, when controlling a back pass, from the goalkeeper, Evanilson charged in and Sa booted the back of the striker's ankle. It needed a VAR check with referee Peter Bankes watching it back on a monitor.

Evanilson needed some treatment and Justin Kluivert scored his second penalty of a sensational 18 minutes to put Bournemouth 3-1 ahead. The first Kluivert penalty had been rolled to the keeper's left, this one was blasted to the keeper's right. Different side, same outcome.

Wolves are so, so open at the back. Bournemouth also wasted two glorious chances. Murmurs of discontent around Molineux, but I'm not sure if they're at the officials, the Wolves players or boss Gary O'Neil. It's some game and will be one of the best matches of the season if Wolves win it from here.

Alexander Isak comes off, looking very frustrated. Super sub Harvey Barnes comes on.

Wolves look really poor defensively. The home fans boo after their side give the ball away and Bournemouth have a shot from range go over.

Brentford have looked the more likely scorers so far. Hope Leicester aren't nursing hangovers from their frowned upon Christmas party.

Mikkel Damsgaard gets a decent shot off on the half-volley and it's blocked but comes back out to Christian Norgaard, who also fancies his chances from range but can't get his effort down on target.

Evanilson goes down in the area. The ref says no, but VAR calls him to the monitor.

It's a real mess from Wolves who try to play the ball around the back. Evanilson tackles Jose Sa as the keeper tries to clear it, and ends up catching the forward with his follow-through.

Alexander Isak is properly grimacing after landing awkwardly after a challenge with Tyrick Mitchell.

He's rubbing his hip.

It's been a very even start at Selhurst Park. The possession stats read Palace 49%, Newcastle 51%.

What are Wolves doing?! Bournemouth get two big chances as Ryan Christie has a shot from range well-saved, and then Evanlison should do better, unmarked in the area, but heads wide.
