    Everton 0-0 Aston Villa

    Off the line for Everton.

The hosts almost take the lead as Dominic Calvert-Lewin's strike goes past Emiliano Martinez, but Boubacar Kamara had read the situation well and is able to take a touch before clearing his lines.

That failure to score is almost instantly constantly as Villa break down the other end, but Jacob Ramsey fires wide when well placed.

If only we (Arsenal) had a striker we’d be 3 up by now.

    Leicester 0-0 Crystal Palace

Tyrick Mitchell's effort is well blocked but the ball bobbles out to Will Hughes and he absolutely rifles one first time but he can't quite keep it down. Better from Palace.

    Leicester 0-0 Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace have not had a shot on target so far in this game. Tells you everything you need to know really.

Martin Odegaard sends Raheem Sterling into the box with a nice through ball but Sterling's cross is cleared by Pedro Porro.

    Shamoon Hafez
BBC Sport football news reporter at Goodison Park

David Moyes has spent most of the first half standing on the edge of his technical area with his hands in his pockets.

I think he'll be pleased with how it has gone so far on his return to the Goodison dugout.

  8. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 20:14 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January

    Newcastle 1-0 Wolves

Oooh not far off an equaliser for Wolves!

Rodrigo Gomes chases a ball over the top and breaks towards the box before cutting the ball back superbly for Jorgen Strand Larsen, but his first-time strike clips the outside the post.

Wolves are a real danger on the counter.

Spurs cannot get hold of the ball. Arsenal look so dangerous.

It has a feeling of a matter of time. For Spurs, it will feel like 35 minutes had gone by already.

  11. Postpublished at 20:13 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January

    Leicester 0-0 Crystal Palace

Weak defending from Marc Guehi as Jamie Vardy manages to wrestle the ball from him but nothing comes of it once again. That's definitely a half-chance for Leicester.

The ball lands for Leandro Trossard in the box, shot blocked. It comes to Thomas Partey outside the box. Shot blocked.

All one-way traffic at the moment as Arsenal push Tottenham back. Raheem Sterling has had a couple of early opportunities to make an impact but no end product as yet.

Arsenal have forced a succession of corners but Spurs keeper Antonin Kinsky's strategy of punching rather than trying to catch in a crowd is working so far.

Spurs have just not been able to get on the ball.

Spurs, again leaving two players up front.

Son is now being marked by Raheem Sterling. If Spurs can get the ball and break they will play quickly.

Arsenal have some quality players but their squad is too weak to win the league, filled with PL cast-offs - Havertz, Jesus, Sterling, Zinchenko, Jorginho. Why did other top teams let them go? I think that question has been answered...

    Everton 0-0 Aston Villa

    Marc Albrighton
Former Aston Villa and Leicester midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

Good bit of play by Villa. They stretched the play well and managed to switch the ball to Matty Cash. His cross was behind everyone in the middle but it broke to Boubacar Kamara to hit a good effort.

You just need someone following in when Jordan Pickford spills it.

Alexander Isak has scored 10 goals since the start of December, making him the leading league scorer across Europe's big-five leagues.

The hosts are looking to build on the momentum of his goal by getting a second before the break, a nice spell of passing prompting some oles from Newcastle fans.
