This is the mayhem we expected. A quarter of the game gone Spurs have started playing a bit now.

Gibson: I am watching Arsenal for the first time. For a team seeking to win the title depending on set pieces to score is mighty disappointing. I am bored

    So close.

Djed Spence, what about his pace then he left the defender for dead . Brilliant ball in and Dominic Solanke just needs a clean touch.

What a beautiful piece of defending from Gabriel.

  6. Postpublished at 20:22 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January

    Arsenal 0-0 Tottenham

From the corner Tottenham almost take the lead. The ball drops to Dejan Kulusevski, who takes a touch into space and smacks in a shot well saved by David Raya at the near post.

  7. Postpublished at 20:21 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January

    Arsenal 0-0 Tottenham

Antonin Kinsky comes out of his box and loses the ball to Jurrien Timber. Arsenal can't take advantage - and then suddenly Spurs counter.

Djed Spence runs down the left and puts in a fine outside-of-boot cross which Gabriel takes off the toes of Dominic Solanke. Corner.

It is intriguing the way Arsenal are playing. They are so confident in comparison to Spurs.

As soon as Unai brings on Duran, it’s game over for Everton. Chances won’t be wasted

    HT: Everton 0-0 Aston Villa

    Marc Albrighton
Former Aston Villa and Leicester midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

As 0-0 games go this has not been a bad one. There have been chances and opportunities at both ends, and little bits of quality from both sides as well.

Everton when they are playing fast and getting forward, they have been brilliant. Villa have had their own chances, mainly long range shots from the edge of the box.

I think both teams have another few gears to go up.

  11. Postpublished at 20:20 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January

    Arsenal 0-0 Tottenham

Arsenal fans try to put Antonin Kinsky off as he tries to clear before Kai Havertz gets there. The Czech's confidence doesn't seem knocked as he casually deals with it.

  12. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:19 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January

    Newcastle 1-0 Wolves

Advantage Newcastle at the break with the hosts 45 minutes away from a ninth win in a row.

They almost added a second just before the half-time whistle when Sandro Tonali's strike deflected just wide.

One of the worst halves I’ve seen from Palace in quite a long time. Running short on players and ideas yet again. It really is Groundhog Day for us, the PL club with no ambition.

Crystal Palace clear the corner with ease and that's the final action of a very poor first half.

  16. Postpublished at 20:18 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January

If Leicester don't win tonight, I'm not sure the appointment of van Nistelrooy is looking like a big success it seemed after his first (and currently only) Premier League win. Granted they've had a tough run of fixtures losing to City, Liverpool and Newcastle but they've also lost to Villa and Wolves. Wonder what Leicester fans thoughts are now.

Antonin Kinsky gets away with one here. The Tottenham keeper has a clearance blocked by Kai Havertz and gets lucky that he's able to get to the rebound before the Arsenal forward.

  20. 'Good defending by Kamara to read the situation'published at 20:17 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January

    Everton 0-0 Aston Villa

    Marc Albrighton
Former Aston Villa and Leicester midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

It was good defending by Boubacar Kamara just to read the situation and clear the ball off the line. Dominic Calvert-Lewin broke the offside trap bit struggled to get the finish off, the ball was stuck under his feet.
