    Leicester 0-2 Crystal Palace

Jordan Ayew forces Dean Henderson into his first save of the half and it's an easy one. He's probably grateful for the work in this cold weather!

As a Newcastle supporter, I can’t help but look at 38 points and think ‘first objective achieved, we’re staying up’…need to change my mindset me thinks

  3. FULL-TIMEpublished at 21:22 Greenwich Mean Time

    Everton 0-1 Aston Villa

David Moyes' Everton return starts with a home loss. Ollie Watkins' goal, from Morgan Rogers fine through ball, is the difference.

The hosts should have snatched a point at the death though, only for Dominic Calvert-Lewin to send an attempt over the top when well placed.

It looks like the best performance of the night goes to Ipswich: out of the relegation zone without kicking a ball.

For all the chances Spurs have made they have not been able to turn the screw in any way.

  6. Postpublished at 21:21 Greenwich Mean Time

    Arsenal 2-1 Tottenham

Archie Gray gives Antonin Kinsky a heavy back pass and the keeper flicks it back to the defender. Very casual.

    Everton 0-1 Aston Villa

You just sense that chance was the one chance Everton needed, and you would not want it to fall to another player in a blue shirt. A couple of years ago Dominic Calvert-Lewin was burying those.

    What a miss.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin just has to get an equaliser. Jesper Lindstrom puts it on a plate for Calvert-Lewin, on the six-yard box and unmarked.

But it is a really poor finish, with Calvert-Lewin sending it over the top.

    Arsenal 2-1 Tottenham

Tottenham keeper Antonin Kinsky really takes a long time on the ball before clearing it. A few times he's almost been caught out.

  10. INJURY TIMEpublished at 21:20 Greenwich Mean Time

    Leicester 0-2 Crystal Palace

Five minutes have been added on at the end of this one. Can Leicester make it nervy for Palace?

Arsenal bring on Gabriel Martinelli for Raheem Sterling, who hasn't really taken advantage of this rare chance to play.

    Everton 0-1 Aston Villa

Villa keeper Emiliano Martinez jumps and grabs a deflected Everton effort, the first time he has had to make a save this half.

Whisper it quietly - but Spurs could go down.. (if people insist Man Utd could - then Spurs are in the same boat surely!)

Not a chance of that being a penalty kick.

  16. Postpublished at 21:19 Greenwich Mean Time

    Arsenal 2-1 Tottenham

Leandro Trossard slices a shot away from home and moments later goes down in the box.

He wants a penalty but the referee gives a free to Tottenham. A replay shows he just swung and missed the ball. Not sure why it was a free though.

When you're down the bottom, you just don't have any luck, do you. A deflected goal, marginal onside goal, hit woodwork twice and an uncessary intervention from VAR to rule out a goal. Wolves don't deserve to win, but they have had no luck tonight.

    Everton 0-1 Aston Villa

It is all about game management for Villa. Away from home they have done it very well in the last five minutes. Kill the game, slow things down, keep the ball in areas that Everton can't hurt them.

Four minutes of added time. Villa, after that Ollie Watkins goal early in the second half, have defended superbly since scoring. Can they see out the job though?
