Am I just being a dinosaur or is the celebrating of clearances and tackles in the same manner as goals a bit much? Arsenal seem to be kings of this but it's a bit cringe for me

    FT: Everton 0-1 Aston Villa

    Aston Villa

Aston Villa manager Unai Emery, speaking to Match of the Day, said: "Very happy. A tough match. We played 90 minutes and competed very well. We had some clear chances in the first half and we tried to push and take even more control in the second but we couldn't, but we scored.

"This victory is very important. We have started the year winning at home, in the Premier League and in the FA Cup. Away, we were in a bad spell and had to break it."

On David Moyes' job at Everton: "It will take time to play in their style, but the players were the same players that we expected. To get three points is very difficult and we're very happy."

Gabriel won it, but it is the way he won it.

Dejan Kulusevski tried to tackle him but he used his body. Dejan is a strong lad, but he needed to get towards the ball.

Watching Gabriel and Saliba together the suspicion is they quite like defending.

Richard: Imagine taking Son off for Richarlison while chasing the game in the north London derby. If Ange hadn't lost the plot before, he surely has now.

Why, Oh why, won't Arsenal just shoot when facing the goal in the eighteen yard box?

This has a 2-2 draw written all over it. Probably Solanke to score with only his 14th touch of the game.
