You can hear the frustration from the home fans. They know that there is a result here for Everton if they can take it up a gear.

    Everton 0-1 Aston Villa

A proper goalmouth scramble after another Everton corner causes Villa problems. No home player can get a clean strike away and Villa panickily get rid of it.

James Maddison warming up too but he's still wearing a bib. So we'll have to see if it's going to be a double switch or not.

David Moyes, Manager of Everton, reactsImage source, Getty Images

It is a big job for David Moyes at Everton, as previous managers who have been at the helm of this club found out.

It is a doable job [to save them from relegation]. There are a few teams down there that aren't playing as well as Everton.

I look at them tonight and they are pressing well and look organised and this is against a good Villa team.

It was never going to be an easy game but the way they are working for each other and have created some good chances, I think they will have enough.

I think Moyes was the right appointment at this stage. It is early days in his reign but I only see them improving and gaining in confidence.

    HT: Arsenal 2-1 Tottenham

Since the start of last season, Arsenal have scored four goals from corners against Tottenham in the Premier League - the most any team has netted against an opponent in this period.

  7. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:59 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January

    Newcastle 2-0 Wolves

Double change for Wolves as we enter the final 20 minutes.

Rodrigo Gomes is replaced by Nelson Semedo while Jean-Ricner Bellegarde is on for Goncalo Guedes.

  8. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 20:59 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January

    Leicester 0-1 Crystal Palace

Patson Daka has really added something to this Leicester attack and they've just come within of inches of equalising. Boubakary Soumare runs on to one on the edge of the box and his guided effort bounces off the bar. So close!

  9. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 20:57 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January

    Leicester 0-1 Crystal Palace

Funny you should say that Mark because Leicester have just made three changes!

Harry Winks, Bilal El Khannouss and Facundo Buonanotte make way for Patson Daka, Oliver Skipp and Kasey McAteer.

    Everton 0-1 Aston Villa

    Marc Albrighton

The referee isn't letting much go. Everton need to just be careful with their challenges because in pressing so much they are letting Villa dictate the tempo of the game.

Wolverhampton Wanderers' Matheus Cunha reactsImage source, Reuters

Matheus Cunha is looking the most likely to conjure something up for Wolves and he charges onto a good ball through the Newcastle defence, gets into the box but then drives wide from a difficult angle.

  13. Postpublished at 20:55 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January

    Everton 0-1 Aston Villa

Everton have failed to win any of their last six matches when conceding first in the Premier League, since a victory over Crystal Palace on 28 September.

  14. 'Arsenal have turned it around'published at 20:55 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January

    HT: Arsenal 2-1 Tottenham

    Pat Nevin
Former Chelsea winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

Arsenal have turned it around and it has been deserved.

The entirety of the game Arsenal look the better side and if they keep up this level the scoring isn't finishing from the red and white team.

    Leicester 0-1 Crystal Palace

Victor Kristiansen drives a low ball across the box and Jamie Vardy improvises with a spinning backheel and it trickles wide. That would have been an incredible goal!

  17. Postpublished at 20:54 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January

    Newcastle 2-0 Wolves

Will Alexander Isak get a third tonight?

Only Alan Shearer (148) and Callum Wilson (47) have more Premier League goals for Newcastle than him (46).

  19. 'More of a foul on Calvert-Lewin by Tielemans'published at 20:53 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January

    Everton 0-1 Aston Villa

    Marc Albrighton
Former Aston Villa and Leicester midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

There is a risky challenge from Youri Tielemans on Dominic Calvert-Lewin in the middle, almost pulls him over by the neck. There wasn't much in the push on Jesper Lindstrom at the back post. If there was a foul in there it was more of a foul on Calvert-Lewin.
