    Natasha Dowie
Reading and England striker on the BBC Radio 5 Live

This is a dream start and this is why Guro Reiten is playing today because she has that wand of a left foot, she can deliver a ball like that.

Mayra Ramirez, big call but it's the correct call.

At almost the exact same time as Mayra Ramirez found the back of the net Rachel Daly had a brilliant chance to head her side in front, too.

Kenza Dali's cross was a super one but Daly heads over.

Villa would love to give Carla Ward the perfect send off.

    Spurs lead!

It's a dreadful error from West Ham goalkeeper Mackenzie Arnold which gifts the hosts the opener.

She spills a catch and Martha Thomas takes advantage, clipping a cross towards the other side of the box and finding Bethany England.

    She rifles past Arnold.

    What a start!!!

The Chelsea fans to our right are going CRAZY. It's a lovely cross from Guro Reiten and that has killed the noise from United's fans instantly.

Mayra Ramirez has missed the last few weeks with injury. What a way to make your return. Wow!

Brighton have shown a bit of promise in the opening few moments.

Katie Robinson is causing some issues for Arsenal's defence on the wing and the visitors are pressing high up the pitch.

  7. OFF THE BARpublished at 15:03 British Summer Time 18 May

    Leicester 0-0 Liverpool

Liverpool so close to the perfect start at the King Power Stadium.

They win a free-kick on the edge of the box and Marie-Therese Hobinger gets it up and over the wall.

It looks destined to find the net but Janina Leitzig tips it onto the bar.

Well what a start for Chelsea!

Guro Reiten whips one in from the left-hand side and Mayra Ramirez gets up to head into the back of the net.

It's early doors but that is a huge advantage for Emma Hayes and an early blow for Manchester City.

  9. KICK-OFFpublished at 15:00 British Summer Time 18 May

This is it then. We're under way on the last day of the Women's Super League season.

Before the two teams emerged, both sets of subs made their way along the Villa Park touchline to the bench.

Among the City players were Khadija Shaw and Jill Roord - both on crutches, due to a broken foot and ruptured cruciate ligament respectively.

They will be here, City hope, to be part of the trophy lifting ceremony later. But how they would love to have those two stars available to play today.

What is difficult for Chelsea today is that they need goals. Manchester City have scored more than four goals on ten occasions this season, so they have shown that they have lots of goals in them.

Just because Chelsea have the experience and have been there before I am backing them to win it over Manchester City today.

A huge reception for Carla Ward as she emerges from the tunnel at Villa Park after her players, accompanied by daughter Hartley.

The outgoing manager is presented with a framed and signed Villa shirt, and a gigantic bunch of flowers, on the pitch.

Under Ward, Villa have become a WSL staple; her management is the major reason why Man City will absolutely not have it their own way today.

Lots of ifs and maybes today, but, for me, between Chelsea and Manchester City, the team that starts better places huge pressure on the other. If Chelsea are two up in 25 minutes, then City know they have to win big, and without Shaw, I'm doubtful they can do that. Conversely, if City are two or three up at HT, and Chelsea are not leading, then the London side will be worrying about not just winning but doing it by several goals. Which, against Earps & Co, I don't think they will achieve.

I think Manchester City will be disappointed, losing to Arsenal in the manner that they did.

They'll be calm and collected and they know what they need to do. They need to get three points and they need to score a lot of goals.

It has been a long farewell for Emma Hayes since she announced her intention to leave in November.

She said that dealing with emotion is one of the most difficult parts of being a manager.

"I think staying on top of the emotion is something I'm really good at, but sometimes I really hate that," Hayes said as she reflected on her career in a news conference.

"I think you have to do that a lot as a manager, take a lot of emotion out of things which is probably one of the reasons why I'm leaving this job.

"I actually miss 'Emma' and feeling like I don't have to watch every word I say, or worry about what my body language looks like in every situation because of cameras on me.

"I had my last drive into work today [Friday], my office is already cleared out, it's my last coaching session with a group of people who I have built strong bonds with.

"I wouldn't change a single thing and I am so delighted to get one more training session with my team and one more game and I know for sure we're going to enjoy it."

Royalty is here at Old Trafford.

Not quite, but in Manchester United terms... Legendary ex-boss Sir Alex Ferguson is in the directors box, alongside Sir Dave Brailsford.

No sign of Sir Jim Ratcliffe - the chairman of new minority owners INEOS - who also missed United's FA Cup win on Sunday.

There's also several representatives from Chelsea's board.

It's so hard to call. The last few days I have been going from one side to the other. The heartbreak of Chelsea and will it be in the stars that it goes back to Chelsea?

This Man City side who have been so consistent all season and then last game they just fell at the hurdle and lost to Arsenal. It's really hard to say.

What I'm really excited about today is City have to go for it.

There's always an added twist to these things isn't there and today it's that should Manchester United take points off Chelsea at Old Trafford, they will have done their local rivals a favour and essentially handed them the league, should Manchester City also beat Aston Villa.

United don't have a great deal to play for with Champions League football out of reach. Plus, they won the FA Cup last weekend and will still be on a high from those celebrations.

Will Marc Skinner's side have a say in whether their neighbours win a first league title since 2016?
