Lewis Hall has been given the run-around all afternoon. Savinho is taking it inside and outside, putting Hall on the spin.

West Ham have come out fighting. Ollie Scarles' drive from the edge of the box is pushed over by Mark Flekken.

Jacob Greaves is shown a yellow card for his late challenge on Andres Garcia.

He'll have to be careful now to make sure Ipswich aren't reduced to nine.

Aaron Ramsdale is keeping Southampton in this after a couple of excellent saves, the latest seeing him push Ryan Christie's header up from under his bar.

Newcastle are in danger of completely imploding, with a throw-in right across their back line. Erling Haaland nips in ahead of Dan Burn, but carries the ball wide before passing back to Savinho whose shot is tame.

A brighter start to the second half from Newcastle. They had to come out and play with more energy and Tino Livramento down the right hand side has given them that.

Positive start to the second half by Southampton as a great turn by Paul Onuachu sees him into the box, but his shot is then blocked.

The Saints are still waiting for their first shot on target.

A bright start for Marcus Rashford as his curling effort from a standing start forces Alex Palmer into a diving save.

Bruno Guimaraes, who will bring as much blood and thunder as he can to get Newcastle back into this match, is booked for a late tackle on Brazilian compatriot Savinho.

Guimaraes stayed down for a while afterwards too, but could not outwait referee Sam Barratt.
